WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?

Answer

Black Tie Optional / Semi-Formal - Have fun with it! We ask that men wear a suit and tie or tuxedo and women wear floor length gowns (midi's also acceptable!)

IS THE WEDDING OUTDOORS

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are outside, and the reception will take place in a heated tent. Please dress acordingly!

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation from the Hotel Viking to the venue, and then back to the Hotel Viking and after party following the event.

WILL THERE BE OTHER EVENTS TO ATTEND ON THE WEDDING WEEKEND?

Please refer to the schedule on the wedding website! We will be hosting a casual welcome party near the hotel, as well as an after party following the wedding reception. For the welcome party, there will be a cash bar! We recommend you check out a local restaurant prior, as well as explore all downtown Newport has to offer! Transportation not provided, though it is walkable! For the after party, there will be late night bites provided and there will also be a cash bar. Transportation provided to and from the Hotel Viking!

WHAT IS THE CLOSEST AIRPORT?

Answer

Providence Airport and Boston Logan Airport are the closest airports! For those flying into an airport, please be sure to coordinate a ride to Newport as there is no public transportation nearby!

Yes! There is valet parking available at the Hotel Viking as well as other paid lots and meters surrounding Newport, RI

Yes! The venue has plenty of free parking on site.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding and welcome/after party are adult's only event for those 21+. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and understanding.
