What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code is black-tie optional. This includes tuxes, dark suits and ties, gowns, and midi or knee-length dresses. Think elegant and sophisticated, but most importantly, wear something you feel fancy and confident in!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space and both having large families, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be addressed as {Your name} & {guest name} if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Is there parking at the church?

Answer

There are two complimentary parking lots available for guests: one located directly next to the church, and another at the northwest corner of 4th & Vine Streets. Due to the large number of guests expected, the lots may fill up quickly. In that case, street parking is available at your own risk. We recommend planning ahead and considering carpooling or using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you put away your phones and cameras during the ceremony and ensure all devices are silenced. We want to share this special moment with you—fully present and distraction-free. Don’t worry, we’ve got it covered! Our professional photographer and videographer will be capturing every detail for us to cherish and share.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be complimentary parking available starting at 4:30 p.m. The lot is located at 615 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. If you’re unsure where to go, an attendant will be outside the venue to guide you. They will also provide you with a parking voucher. Whether you head straight to the lot or stop by the venue beforehand, be sure to get your parking voucher from the attendant outside the venue when you arrive. You’ll need this voucher at the end of the night to cover your parking ticket.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that only guests aged 21 and over attend. While we absolutely adore your children and wish we could include everyone in our special day, we hope you’ll enjoy this as a well-deserved date night or parents’ night out. Thank you for understanding!

What to Do Between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

There will be a short break between the ceremony and the reception. We encourage you to use this time to check into your hotel or enjoy a drink at one of the many nearby bars between the church and venue. Two great nearby options are Red Owl Tavern and P.J. Clarke’s at The Curtis. Thank you for your flexibility—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Transportation

Answer

Due to parking being available at the church, there will be no transportation from the hotel to the ceremony. Please refer to the Parking FAQ for directions and details. If you are staying at the hotel, a trolley will depart at 5:20 PM to bring guests to the cocktail hour. Return transportation will not be provided, but the hotel is only a 3-minute walk (0.1 miles) away! If you have difficulty or concerns getting around, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to get around.
