We're tying the knot!

Our story begins at QuikTrip #1032 — the day Koda started working for Quiktrip. It wasn’t exactly a normal first meeting. In fact, the day was memorable for a pretty wild reason: a garbage truck caught fire behind the store. While everyone was focused on the chaos, neither of us had any idea that this random day at QuikTrip would eventually lead to something much bigger. A few months later, Megan transferred to QuikTrip #1004 while Koda was working at store #1010. Every now and then Megan would have to swing by #1010 to pick up product for her store, and that’s when we kept running into each other again. Around that time, Koda had also started liking all of Megan’s pictures on Facebook — subtle, but definitely noticed. The real turning point happened one night after Megan finished a shift. On her way home, she stopped by the QuikTrip near her house to visit a friend who was working. By pure coincidence, Koda happened to be in the store at the exact same time. Megan was surprised to learn he actually lived so close by. Feeling bold, Koda asked Megan if she wanted to go to Waffle House that night. Megan said no — claiming she wanted to go home and “drink wine.” In reality, that meant going home to smoke a blunt and watch TV. But even though Waffle House didn’t happen, we did exchange numbers. A few nights later we ended up talking on the phone for four hours straight and just never stopped. And the rest, as they say, is history.
