🍓 Our Love Story

Once upon a time — on a warm spring day in Fayetteville, Arkansas — a strawberry festival became the unexpected setting of our very own modern fairytale. Brianna was a bundle of nerves, listening to showtunes on the drive from Joplin to calm herself down. Meanwhile, Aaron was on his own three-hour pilgrimage from home, keeping company with none other than Harry Potter (Jim Dale version, of course). They met in the middle of the festival, strawberries in hand and smiles as nervous as they were excited. After about thirty minutes of polite small talk and sunshine, the heavens opened up. Suddenly, it was pouring like a Hallmark movie set, complete with thunder, chaos, and—of course—a gallant gentleman. Aaron insisted on walking on the side closest to the cars, getting completely drenched by passing traffic so Brianna wouldn’t be splashed. Chivalry wasn’t dead—it was just soggy. They finally found shelter in a little café, drying off under the hand dryers like two awkward heroes escaping a storm. Over a few rounds of Phase 10, they talked for hours—well, Brianna talked for hours, and Aaron listened sweetly, smiling the whole time. That kind, steady smile—the one that made his eyes light up in a way she’d never forget. Somewhere between the laughter, the soaked shoes, and a random act of kindness (Aaron quietly paid for a stranger’s meal), she knew: this was someone special. Aaron later confessed that he didn’t mind the talking one bit. In fact, he loved hearing her talk. He thought she was beautiful (but didn’t dare say it out loud just yet). And somewhere between listening, laughing, and buying a stranger a hotdog—because, as he put it, “I thoroughly enjoy being chivalrous”—he knew he wanted to keep making her smile for a long, long time. When the rain finally stopped, they ventured back outside, only to have the wind pick up and send inflatables flying like a scene straight out of Twister. It was chaotic, hilarious, and somehow—completely perfect. A few weeks later, they met again at Silver Dollar City, where Aaron officially asked Brianna to be his girlfriend. The rest of that summer was a beautiful blur of long drives, meeting families, sharing faith, and falling even deeper in love. From that first stormy strawberry festival to every adventure since, Brianna and Aaron’s love story has been full of laughter, magic, and a touch of divine timing—proof that sometimes, happily ever after begins with a little rain. 💍 The Proposal After countless adventures together, it was only fitting that Aaron planned his biggest one yet — at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We spent the weekend at the Orlando Informer event, living our best nerdy lives: eating our weight in food and butterbeer, laughing our way through every ride we could, and getting absolutely wrecked on The Hulk (zero regrets). Between the endless snacks, magical chaos, and Florida swamp humidity, we were having the time of our lives. Then, in front of the glowing Hogwarts Castle — the heart of one of our favorite worlds — Aaron got down on one knee and asked Brianna the easiest question she’s ever been asked. It was pure magic: laughter, happy tears, and a moment straight out of the storybooks we love. As we step into our happily ever after, we’re turning the page to the next chapter — a wedding filled with wonder, faith, and fantasy. Our storybook is just beginning. ✨
