Old Mission Peninsula Wine Trail
Drive along Old Mission Pennisula and visit the amazing wineries! Some of our favorites are Mari, Chateau Chantel, Bowers Harbor, Brys Estate and Bonobo! There are also plenty of tour companies that can take you by bus and stop at multiple wineries along the way—perfect for a fun day out!
Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail
Black Star Farms, Blustone and Two K are some of our favorites. They also offer plenty of tour bus options!
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons
The old Traverse City State Hospital that is now a popular shopping and dining spot!
Elk Rapids
About a 20-minute drive from Traverse City, Elk Rapids is a village known for its picturesque lakefront and small-town charm. Stroll along River Street, lined with shops and restaurants, or enjoy the lovely beach and swim in the beautiful Lake Michigan. Be sure to check out Shorts Brewery Elk Rapids! It’s one of our favorite spots to hang out and grab a drink!
H&L Social Rooftop Bar
One of our favorite places to get a drink! H&L Social is a rooftop bar on the 5th floor of Hotel Indigo downtown TC. It has great bay views, craft cocktails, local beer, and shareable plates.
The Little Fleet
The Little Fleet brings together delicious food trucks, crafts cocktails, local beer, and wines. They have a pet-friendly patio that is perfect for the whole family, with live music all summer long.
Downtown Traverse City
Walk down Front Street and explore all the shops. Be sure to stop into Cherry Republic for some delicious samples— it’s one of our favorite spots!

Enjoy a sailing excursion on West Bay with a bar onboard. It leaves right from the Delamar!

Boardman River Trail Brown Bridge
Take a peaceful hike by the river. It’s one of our favorite trails to explore with our dogs!
