Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is an amusement park offering a variety of games & rides on a mile-long stretch of sandy beach. It's always a good time and only about 30 minutes from Los Gatos over highway 17, without traffic.
Vasona Lake County Park
Vasona Lake County Park includes 45 acres of lawn which can be used for games such as frisbee, softball or soccer. Paddle boats and row boats are available for rental during the summer.
Winchester Mystery House
The Winchester Mystery House is a mansion in San Jose that was once the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearm magnate William Wirt Winchester. The Queen Anne Style Victorian mansion is renowned for its size, its architectural curiosities, and its lack of any master building plan. Since its construction in 1884, the property and mansion were claimed by many to be haunted by the ghosts of those killed with Winchester rifles.
The Mystery Spot
The Mystery Spot is a tourist attraction near Santa Cruz. Visitors experience demonstrations that appear to defy gravity, on the short but steep uphill walk and inside a wooden building on the site.
