For Now, For Always, Forever Kinda Love

Here's a tale of when Queens met Bronx lol. Just kidding! This is actually a story of how a Queens kid met his Southern Belle. Our story is different from many others but so are we :-). Social media has a way of bringing people together and keeping people in touch with one another. This is exactly what social media did for us. It was the year of 2006 when MYSPACE was the place to be. We don't remember who DM'd who first (although I'm sure Marvin initiated the convo lol), but it led to a very special date. Our first date was at Marvin's apartment in West Ashley where he prepared a meal consisting of curry chicken, sweet corn, and coconut rice. There was also dessert but neither of us can remember what it was lol. It turned out to be a lovely evening, but because both of us were so young and had a lot of life to live before making a serious commitment to each other, we distance ourselves and didn't see each other again for a few years. Recent discovery has actually shown that although we were distant, we somehow still found our way back to each other via Facebook Messenger. We discovered that at least every other year we would check on one another. Now let's fastforward to the year of 2020. This year was tough not only because of the pandemic but also because it brought on some heartbreak for both Kristin and Marvin, but through healing, they once again found themselves back in each other's lives. This time every action was led by God therefore we knew it was genuine and meant to be. We became best friends and inseparable. Through all of our hiccups surrounding our health, God pulls us through and we are so grateful to have received His blessing on our union. We realize the tears and heartbreak before finding each other was all worth it because it taught us how to appreciate one another and how to truly love each from our souls. We are truly each other's soulmates and each other's DREAM COME TRUE and we are ready to present Hodges 2.0 to you!
