We were brought together through mutual family, and God had His own timing for us. For a while, neither of us was brave enough to make the first move, but eventually, He guided us to start talking. Along the way, we discovered that we had attended the same high school for a year and even lived just down the street from each other—without ever knowing it! We truly believe that every little twist and turn was part of God’s plan to bring us together, and we are so grateful for the journey that led us to this moment. Fuimos unidos a través de familiares en común, y creemos que Dios tenía Su propio momento para nosotros. Durante un tiempo, ninguno de los dos se atrevía a dar el primer paso, pero finalmente Él nos guió para comenzar a hablar. Con el tiempo, descubrimos que habíamos asistido a la misma escuela secundaria durante un año e incluso vivíamos a solo una calle de distancia… ¡sin saberlo! Realmente creemos que cada pequeño giro y cada paso fue parte del plan de Dios para unirnos, y estamos muy agradecidos por el camino que nos llevó a este momento.
It was the 4th of July, a night filled with celebration, laughter, and the dazzling glow of fireworks. As the sky lit up with bursts of color, we felt a quiet, powerful reminder of God’s presence in our lives and in our love for each other. In that magical moment, with hearts full of faith and gratitude, the question was asked, and the joyful “yes” that followed felt like a blessing from above. Under the fireworks and His guiding light, we began the next chapter of our journey together, trusting in His plan and the love that has brought us here.
