Maid of Honor
Grace and Amie first met on freshman move-in day at Furman in 2016 but it wasn’t until Spring of 2019, while studying abroad in Brussels, that their friendship blossomed. Grace fell in love with Amie’s laid back personality, dry wit, and incredibly huge heart (for such a small person) and knew this was someone to hold onto. Grace got to know Corey once she and Amie returned to the states and soon realized how perfect he was for her. Grace loves Amie and Corey, individually and as a pair, and is so honored to be a part of their lives!! They are partners in every way and it has been one of Graces greatest joys watching their relationship grow.
Best Man
Kyle, Corey’s younger cousin (though somehow taller), was honored when asked to be the best man at Corey’s wedding. The two have shared countless memories, from sunny summer days on the lake in CT to late nights watching hockey and football with a cold beer in hand. Through it all, Kyle has been by Corey’s side, offering laughs and support. Standing by Corey on his wedding day was just the next chapter in a friendship and family bond that’s been going strong for years.
Matron of Honor
Brooke was 12 when Amie was born, and from the moment she held her new little sister, she knew Amie was a gift to the world. Growing up with such an age gap meant Brooke got to be the "big sister," dressing Amie up in adorable outfits and taking every chance to babysit. Amie has always been the more fashionable one in the family, even with her little feather boa she wore as a kid. We often say there’s a “before Amie” and “after Amie” in our family because she brought so much light and laughter to us all. As the years have passed, our bond has only grown deeper, and watching Amie as “Auntie” to Lily and Lukas has been pure joy. When Corey entered her life, we were all eager to meet him, and he immediately won over the kids with his warmth and kindness. We’re thrilled to officially welcome him into the family as an uncle and brother-in-law. Amie stood by Brooke’s side on her wedding day, and now Brooke is overjoyed to return the favor, celebrating Amie and Corey on their big day!

Corey is like the little brother Charles never had. Growing up with two older brothers, Charles never imagined having a younger sibling, but that all changed in 2014 after the passing of Chris, Corey’s older brother and one of Charles's closest friends since high school. Chris's loss was a difficult time for everyone, but it brought Corey and Charles closer together. After spending some time in DC working in the government, Charles moved back to Florida in 2018 and found that his bond with Corey had only grown stronger. Corey had always been there for him, and their relationship evolved into something truly special. Now that Charles is back in Florida full-time and practicing real estate in the Tampa area, he feels honored to be part of Corey’s next chapter in life.

Catherine Min met Amie during her freshman year of college at Furman, where they lived on the same hall. Since then, they lived together every year at Furman - including in the EcoCabins. Catherine and Amie love thrifting, playing guitar, being outdoors, exploring Charleston, and singing along to the radio together. Catherine remembers all the way back to Corey and Amie’s first date back in college and is so thrilled to be by Amie’s side while she ties the knot!

Corey and Lane have been close friends since middle school. Lane is a surgical physician assistant at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Amie and Katherine met at Furman, where they lived together for three years and enjoyed late night chats, living room fashion shows, front porch dance parties, and trips to Charleston. They never met a crepe or little shop they didn't like! Katherine has loved getting to see Amie and Corey's relationship grow into the beautiful life they have created together and is honored to celebrate them on their big day!

Corey was Ricky's old dorm mate who lived across the hall at Brevard College. Much of their time together was spent cooking late-night meals for everyone, playing games, or just causing downright mischief! Ricky is very proud of Corey and couldn't be more excited to see where this new adventure will take him.

Katy and Amie became fast friends when they both joined the same sorority freshman year at Furman. Between working out for wellness class, planning Kappa events, and throwing parties at the “cabin,” Amie and Katy enjoyed each other’s sarcastic humor and caring personalities. Just as they started their college journeys together, they ended them together at their final (thanks Covid) spring break in 2020. To this day, the spring break girls reminisce on noise complaints from singing too loud, the failed beach day, and all of the the amazing memories that filled their final week together. Katy frequently makes “pit stops” in the mountains to see Amie shine in her own community, even when Amie forces Katy to go camping. Katy was ecstatic to learn Amie is throwing her a beautiful birthday party and get married at the same time! Katy looks forward to more mountain trips filled with bonfires and Catan with the generous happy couple!

Corey and Casey met while both attending Brevard College through mutual friends and quickly found that they had similar interests like camping and playing video games. Corey has always been a dedicated friend and Casey has been able to witness his relationship with Amie grow to the point where they are today. Casey was honored to have Corey be a part of his wedding three years ago, and he is excited to now return the favor.

Amie and Morgan met during their freshman year of college when they were placed on the same hall. They clicked instantly, bonding over late-night study sessions, spontaneous walks around the lake, and adventurous hikes that turned into cherished memories. When Morgan first met Corey, she immediately noticed how perfectly he and Amie complemented each other. Seeing their love, laughter, and the way they bring out the best in one another has been truly inspiring. Morgan is thrilled to stand by their side as they begin this exciting new chapter together and celebrate their beautiful love story!

Page is Amie’s older and only brother. He has been known to carry her all the way home after an injury at the pool; drive to Furman and pick her up from the infirmary when she had Mono; among other funny things growing up. He has enjoyed getting to know Corey over the last few years at family events and vacations he would attend with Amie. Page and Corey are similar and get along well in that they’re both reserved and introverted. We’re a dog family, so he and yellow lab Alana have fit in great and kept the older dogs spry! Corey quickly got the stamp of approval from my niece and nephew Lily and Lukas as the kids love playing and throwing ball with him. He’s got a great taste in beer, bluegrass music, and hiking trails in the area. We look forward to officially welcoming Corey to the family in October, 2025!

Anna’s husband, Casey, and his friendship with Corey brought Amie and Anna together. They became dear friends with all the coffee dates, farmers market runs, and ganging up on the guys in board games. For someone who is very introverted, Anna is very grateful for the ease of Amie’s friendship and sharing the many adventures they’ve gone on. It has been amazing to watch Amie and Corey’s relationship grow over the years, and see just how truly they complement each other. The wedding will certainly be a testament to both their love for each other, and the magical way Amie brings everything to life with her creative spirit.
Groomsman
Drew and Corey have known each other since elementary school, and their friendship has continued to be a steady part of both of their lives. From soccer games as kids to hanging out all throughout high school, they’ve stayed close over the years, even as life has taken them in different directions. Though they live in different cities now, they’ll keep in touch through video games and make a point to catch up whenever they can. Their twinning English Labs, Alana and Fred, make for a great reason to reconnect, adding a little extra fun to their easygoing friendship. Drew is proud to stand by Corey on his wedding day, marking another chapter in their long-lasting bond.

F ab and Amie met Spring of 2017, when Amie unwrapped Fab during Big/Little reveal for their sorority. After the reveal, Fab and Amie’s crazy friendship began and they have been making memories ever since! Fab and Amie have since perfected their guac making skills, mastered singing gravity by John Mayer, and indulged in many trips to Sidewall, Tandem, and local breweries. One of the fondest memories will be the Spring break trip of 2020, where they were together when they found out COVID had basically shut down the world. Although the pandemic brought hard days ahead, it was one of Fab’s favorite moments as she truly got to see Corey’s and Amie’s relationship blossom. While Fab had gotten the opportunity to meet Amie’s family prior, the pandemic allowed her to meet Corey’s side of the family. She saw how much love and joy the Diehl’s brought to Amie, while mutually seeing Amie’s love for Corey grow. She is extremely happy to stand by Amie’s side on their big day, and is so grateful that Amie didn’t listen to her when she pleaded her not to go to the mountains to meet a mysterious mountain man.
