Moores Tavern and Sports Bar
Moore's is one of our favorite historical bars in Freehold. Hit their happy hour on the way to our reception, but make sure not to fill up!
Battlefield State Park
One of the largest battles of the American Revolution took place in the fields and forests that now make up Monmouth Battlefield State Park. Check out the Revolutionary War farmhouse, visitors center or just take a nice walk around. Don't forget to stop by Battleview Orchard Country Store right around the corner!
Marina Grille
Marina Grille is one of our favorite stops in Belmar. Enjoy happy hour on their spacious, waterfront patio with a beautiful view of the marina.
Freehold Raceway Mall
Feel like a little shopping? Stop by one of the largest malls in the area. Also, the spot where we first met when we both worked at Hollister as teenagers. Also, the spot where we had our first date, at the Ruby Tuesdays.
Rosalita's Roadside Cantina
Stop by Rosie's for one of their delicious margaritas (of course, nothing beats Bob DeJonge or Robert DeJonge III's famous Margs)...but they are still delish and literally right on the way to the reception :) Try Ashley's favorite...the fresh strawberry margarita with a sugar rim :)
Sea Girt Boardwalk
Ashley's favorite boardwalk to take a walk on and enjoy the beautiful views. This is the beach Ashley grew up on.
Jenkinson's Boardwalk
Stop by one of our favorite famed oceanside boardwalks to enjoy rides, an arcade, mini-golf, shopping, or just a stroll down a fun boardwalk.
Cafe 360
Need a pre-party caffeine boost? Cafe 360 is one of Ashley's favorite coffee spots with a wide selection of specialty coffees and teas. It is located right in Freehold.
Manasquan Reservoir
Manasquan Reservoir is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy wildlife. Take a walk and enjoy some of the beautiful views it has to offer. It is one of Ashley and Archie’s favorite places to take a run. Just remember the trail is 5 miles so you wont make it all the way around!
