Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is AUGUST 15th, 2020. We ask that you please adhere to this deadline to avoid any added stress.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP by simply filling out the RSVP card enclosed in your invitation and mailing it in the already addressed and stamped envelope provided.

Do I choose my meal on the RSVP card?

Answer

No, you will choose your entree selection at the reception.

Question

What is the dress code for the reception?

Answer

The event will be black tie optional, dress to impress. -For men: tuxedo or suite -For the ladies: gown or cocktail dress

When do I have to reserve my room by at the Marriott to get the discounted rate?

Answer

You must reserve your room no later than APRIL 14, 2020 in order to get the discounted room block rates.

Where can I reserve my room?

Answer

You can reserve you room either online or by phone. You can reserve the room online by visiting the travel tab section of the website and clicking on the "view" link. This link will direct you to the room reservation page through the Marriott's website. You may also call the Courtyard Marriott directly at (732)738-1991 and reserve the room under the Minichini & DeJonge Wedding block. You must make your reservation by August 14th, 2020 to get the discounted room block rates.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be limited transportation provided by the hotel, depending on the number of people that will be staying at the hotel. There will be 3 trips that will bring guests from the Marriott to the Grand Marquis from approximately 5:15pm-6:30pm and 3 trips that will bring guests from the Grand Marquis back to the Marriott at the end of the night. The size of the shuttle will be dependent upon how many guests will be staying at the hotel, the more rooms that are booked, the bigger the shuttle bus will be. There are also ride share services that can be arranged through Uber or Lyft and split between multiple members of a party.

How far is the Marriott from the Grand Marquis?

Answer

The Marriott is approximately 15 minutes away from the Grand Marquis.

Will breakfast be provided the following morning?

Answer

Yes, for guests staying at the hotel, a hot breakfast buffet will be provided the next morning from 10am-12pm in the lobby area of the hotel.

What can guests do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the guests planning on staying at the Marriott, feel free to check into your room and get settled in. For anyone that is not planning on staying at the hotel, please check out our "Things to Do" tab on the website for some of our favorite spots along the way to kill some time. With that being said, we do want to stress that there will be 7 different stations at the cocktail hour and a top shelf open bar throughout the night, so please arrive ready to indulge.

Yes, there will be a 5 hour, top shelf premium open bar.

Which room will the reception be held in at the Grand Marquis?

Answer

The reception will be held in the Marquis Room at the Grand Marquis.

Will the reception have valet parking?

Answer

Yes, the reception will have valet parking, so please take advantage of this so that you can get to the party faster.

Will there be a vegetarian option with dinner?

Answer

Yes, there will be a vegetarian option available for dinner.

What type of cake will there be at the wedding?

Answer

The wedding cake will be a four-tiered Canudge Cake (cannoli-fudge) provided by Palermo's Bakery. Yes, it is as delicious as it sounds.

What is the Venetian hour?

Answer

The Venetian hour is the Dessert Extravaganza which will be held the last hour of the reception. There will be endless amounts of desert items like a belgium waffle and ice cream sundae station, chocolate fountain, donut wall and cheesecake martini bar just to name a few. So please save some room.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. If you have received an invitation addressed to yourself and a guest, feel free to bring a guest. If you do plan to bring a guest, please include your guest's full name on your returned RSVP card.

Are Kids invited?

Answer

If your invitation includes the entire family, then yes, your kids are welcomed to come. If not, then consider this a worry-free night to let loose!
