We LOVE The Pennant! Definitely one of the best spots in Topeka. Enjoy arcade games, bowling, great drinks, and even better food! Isaac loves the Cuban Pickle Crisis with a beer and Mary Kate loves the chicken tenders with timeless fries and a peach margarita. Walk around downtown after and see the Kansas State Capitol and get dessert at Hazel Hill Chocolate!
Topeka ZooTopeka Zoo
Topeka Zoo is our favorite place in the city! Get up close with animals, check out their Japanese garden, and support the zoo with getting a treat from their gift shop. They have a beautiful light display that typically starts around Thanksgiving. Isaac's most special animal at the zoo is the Eurasian Eagle Owl and Mary Kate loves the Patas monkeys.

Downtown North Topeka is one of our go to weekend hangout places. Check out our favorite local shops with Kaw Rustic Antiques and Round Table Bookstore. Grab some show stopping gourmet grilled cheeses and local brews at The Wheel Barrel. Isaac recommends the Kansan and Mary Kate orders the Monte Cristo!

This is an absolute gem in Topeka! Grab some of the best food and beer in the city, play corn hole, arcade games, and check out their special events! Their Wizard IPA is delicious! You can't go wrong with any of their food, but the fried pickles are the best!
