Wedding Party

Meet some people who mean so much to us. They’ll be standing by our side on our special day. Read what we wrote about em! (It was SO challenging because how do you create a full picture of our friendships with a limit?!)

Nicolas Giorgi

Best Man

Since freshman year of college, Nic's been a constant. From room mating to NYC tripping and Gooski's to ENC, his always down for a quick quip or a deep dive. We've both grown, individually and together, and I'm incredibly thankful for his unwavering friendship.

Alexa

Maid of Honor

For the last 15 years, Lex has filled my life with laughter and sass. I couldn’t imagine my sister not standing by my side. From movies and baking to sipping tea and dancing in the kitchen, Alexa has been a person that I am able to laugh endlessly with. She is also a listening ear when I need one. I remember sitting on a mountain top with her after she met Robbie and her saying “I like him for you, you’re both churchy and nerdy”. Now she’ll get to call the both parties in the “churchy and nerdy” couple, her family.

Christopher Brown

Groomsman

There may not be anyone I feel as comfortable talking to as Christopher. From as far back as I can remember, we would always have the most epic of sword fights, putting on dazzling plays for the entire family. At family dinners, we'll go on long comedic riffs that produce classic gems like "Shrimp Spanker." Stay tuned to catch our podcast dropping sometime.

Chelsie

Bridesmaid

Chelsie has been in all of, but two weeks of my life. Being May babies, one would think that we were best friends from the start. Not so much. We were like frenemies... until we were about 12, when we bonded over ice cream cake and started our holiday bathroom chats. Chelsie is not just my cousin, but also one of my best friends. Thankfully, we’ve moved from doing each other’s make up like scary clowns to helping each other(well Chelsie helping me) look great before a night out. She is artistic, real, strong, and fun. She is someone I can share anything with and I know that will never change.

Richard Garzon

Groomsman

Richie is Thalia's brother, and even though we met for the first time this summer, I can't wait til we are family! He's a huge goofball, but also incredibly sincere. I know that he'd be there for the both of us is ever called upon, which means a lot. I'm so glad he can be part of our special day!

Gaida

Bridesmaid

Gaida is my longest friend and at some point in our childhood, we decided we were going to be cousins. Growing up we spent weekends together having family dinner and trying to trick our parents into allowing us to have sleepovers by just falling asleep. We have shared so much of our lives together, although we don't see each other weekly, we always pick up where we left off. She has been my gym buddy, my traveling companion, and my fort building partner. She continues to be a confidant and someone who encourages me. We have and will forever be, not only be each other's photographers, but life supporters.

Caleb Ostrander

Groomsman

Though only friends since the fall of 2017, Caleb has proved himself a friend for the ages. Whether it's getting an entire crowd to scream my name or just sitting out on the porch talking about life in freezing temperatures, the memories we forged will always be in my heart. Here's to 2019, my friend!

Katie

Bridesmaid

Katie is my bridesmaid until she is my sister, which I am so excited about. She is such a joy to be around, she has such a gentle heart and easy going spirit. Her and Robbie leave me in tears when the two of them are together because I laugh so hard. I can’t wait to continue to make memories with my future fun-loving sister in law.

Richard Christman

Groomsman

Rich Christman stayed at my house with Nic Giorgi the summer after his Senior year and our Freshman years of college. We traipsed around the Big Apple, and the laughs had on that trip echo into the present. He's one of the most thoughtful people I know, such a HUGE dreamer, and one of my favorite people to talk to (when I can reach him).

Kristen

Bridesmaid

How lucky am I that I don't just get one more sister but TWO! Kristen and I have shared many laughs, memories, ...and some rooms when traveling. Kristen has such a heart to serve and I love her spunk. Whether it's watching Harry Potter movies, bible study, dreaming about chocolate mousse, or making sure there is no settling in life, I always have a great time with Kristen.

Ryan Brothers

Groomsman

Though Ryan and I didn't know each other well going into our Senior year of college, before long we were SB's. Ryan opened up his house to me for Spring Break that year, and that's one of the most memorable weeks of my life. You're truly a lifelong friend, and I know we'll always be in touch, be it through Telegram or video games that shut down every 5 minutes.

Summer

Bridesmaid

I met Summer in sixth grade. You know, that awkward Middle School time where girl's are super concerned with being apart of clicks? Yea, not the best time BUT I am beyond thankful that I picked up this gem in those years. We go so far back, I remember her being on my top 10 MySpace friends. She also taught me how to stay calm under pressure since I nearly panicked every time her knee popped out, after like the third time I finally understood my job was to get her mom. From having fortune cookies on St. Patrick’s Day to random nights full of Snapple and cheesesteaks. Sleepovers. Boy talk. Many embarrassing pictures. Limitless laughs. Drama. Life’s ups and downs. Endless unfiltered conversations. Summer has and continues to be by my side through life’s adventures.

Joel Espenshade

Groomsman

I had the privilege in being in the Fall musical, Guys and Dolls, Joel's Freshman year of college and remember thinking he was one of the funniest people I know. Fast forward 2 years to my Senior year, and I had found myself a true friend, willing to share the highs and the lows, someone who had become a true brother. I'm thankful for the memories shared, and I hope for many more to come.

Amanda

Bridesmaid

Thirteen years ago, our friendship began. By this time I think and hope we left the clique stage and moved to the “mature” seventh graders with only one year left of middle school. She’s my original personal stylist since in high school all I knew how to wear was a hoodie, jeans, and ugg boots and I couldn’t wear that everywhere... even though I tried. I remember those nights where I cried on her floor, so she offered a patient listening ear. She is the dance with no music on kind of friend, which makes for many laughs. She is honest and supportive. Amanda has always been there for me, to cry or celebrate with. Pep talks, beach trips, concerts, wrestling matches, scavenger hunts and more. I have so many memories with Amanda. I’m thankful for the years we’ve had and the ones that will come.

Michael Tria

Groomsman

This great friendship formed fast and dug deep. Mike and I bonded quickly on our mutual love of brews (both of the bean and beer variety) and jams (of the musical variety, though preserved fruits are great too). Mike is one of the kindest, most caring individuals you'll ever meet, and he loves humans almost as much as he loves dogs.

Sierra

Bridesmaid

On move in day for the Wilkes University freshman, after being there for a week for cheerleading, Sierra moved in. Our friendship started with a coffee cake and a fork. She introduced me to the idea of having a relationship with Jesus. Throughout college, Sierra was my rock. She went from the person who lived across the hall, to my best friend, and sophomore year, my roommate. We spent many nights eating dominoes and talking about life. She was my person before Tim and Robbie were around. Sierra kept me sane when there were a million things on my plate. We went out in snow storms in sweatpants and I would often refer to her as my soulmate because we balanced each other so well. She helped baptize me. She cheered me on when I was cheering and she continues to cheer me on through life.
