We met when a friend's mom was "just introducing us" at a Good Friday service. Neither of us knew it (well Robbie did), but it was an introduction that would set in motion all that would lead to this event. After blowing his mind with talk of Tolkien, travel, and (T)Jesus, he knew this Harry Potter-obsessed adventurer was special. Despite being 6 hours and 14 minutes away (or 376.3 mi), through some tentative texts and hours long phone conversations, the two endeared themselves to each other. The summer came along, and the cloud of Robbie's imminent move to Mississippi loomed over them, and they wondered what it would mean for their relationship. Despite the uncertainty that long distance brings, the two decided that God had brought them together for a reason, and that no mileage could get in the way of His plans. Then, after a hilarious yet unfortunately botched proposal, the two sprung into wedding planning mode a day before Thanksgiving. Now here we are.
