Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who we are grateful to have in our lives, and so excited to have as our wedding party!

Grace Huebner

Maid of Honor

Meet Grace, the maid of honor and Catie's lifelong friend! Their journey began in 2nd grade, and their parents could already foresee the adventures these two would experience. Together, they've navigated every stage of growing up, from elementary school to middle school, high school graduation, and even college graduation at UNI. They've been each other's support system, standing by one another through it all. Grace is the friend Catie turns to when the idea of a vacation takes shape, and she can always count on Grace to be there, knowing she just has to show up (thanks to Catie's type A personality & planning skills). Their shared travels have taken them across Europe, and they've made a pact to keep exploring the world together, even when they're old and gray. Their friendship truly knows no bounds.

Collyn Chipera

Best Man

More commonly known as Chip. Grant & Chip met during the most awkward, uncomfortable, and life changing event for a young person, known as Freshman year of college. The two lived across the hall from one another, and their work hard – play hard mentality meant that they would end up spending most of their time together. After 4 years of college, Grant & Chip had lived together for 3 years (plus freshman year), attended most every business class together, spent numerous hours cramming for exams, maxed out our credit cards on ‘The College Hill’ (sorry mom), and ate way too many calories on late night food. Grant & Chip are no longer in college, and they no longer spend all that they made that week to have a good time on Friday and Saturday nights. However, one thing hasn’t changed. They will both have each other’s back no matter the circumstance. Cheers Chip!

Madi Skantz

Maid of Honor

Meet Madi, the remarkable maid of honor, who first crossed paths with Catie at the Starbucks in Ames their freshman year of college. When Catie decided to transfer to UNI, she searched for a roommate. They decided to meet in person before committing to living together. It's safe to say they each thought the other was "normal enough" to live together because now here we are. What started as random roommates quickly evolved into an unbreakable bond. Madi is the embodiment of a "ride or die" friend, always ready for any adventure. It's impossible not to notice that wherever Catie goes, Madi is right by her side; their friendship is truly inseparable. From sharing the same sorority to dancing the nights away at Sharkys during their college years, their journey together has been nothing short of extraordinary. They've started traveling together and now reside in the vibrant DSM area, where they golf, explore different breweries on weekend bike rides, and continue to make memories side by side.

Nathan Parker

Groomsman

The guy who always has the most random, yet hilarious comments that always makes for a good time. Although he can be tough to take seriously at times, Nathan has always been there for Grant, and their relationship has only grown since meeting early on in high school. Grant & Nathan spend their Tuesday nights in the summer golfing and cracking jokes about our jobs, and one another. Cheers Nathan!

Jenae Frisch

Bridesmaid

Meet Jenae, one of Catie's bridesmaids, whom she met at UNI through their sorority. From the earliest days of their friendship, they enjoyed spending time in college having game and movie nights, Bachelor watch parties, going to sorority events, and frequenting the Social House rooftop. Since college, they have both moved back to the DSM area and enjoy bike rides, brewery hopping, and outdoor adventures. Their friendship has been unwavering from the very beginning all thanks to Gamma Phi.

Carter Seitsinger

Groomsman

More commonly known as Seity. The guy that never forgets anything and holds Grant to his word. Seity remembers the birthdays of his teachers in middle school and high school – Grant has never met anyone like Seity. The two met through Chip and spent a lot of their time in college together. Sharing an apartment with someone who remembers everything is tough - Grant could never get away with telling Seity that he took the trash out last week, when he really didn’t… Cheers Seity!

Kira Roelle

Bridesmaid

Meet Kira, a bridesmaid with a friendship story that's almost too extraordinary to believe. Their paths crossed in Cancun Mexico back in May 2021. What began as casual poolside conversations transformed into a week of bonding. As they got to know each other better, they discovered the uncanny similarities that bound them together – from how they met their significant other, to their shared upbringing, common interests in the fields of homes and design, and similar hobbies. Their connection was so instant they knew it was a friendship meant to last a lifetime. Despite Kira living in Phoenix AZ, the geographical distance proves no obstacle to their friendship. Catie has made multiple visits to Arizona to visit Kira where they explore local bars, try new restaurants, ski in Flagstaff, attend the Waste Management golf classic, and hangout by the pool. Now, they have the unique privilege of celebrating their engagements together while standing side by side on each other's wedding days.

Isaac Hoffman

Groomsman

The guy that makes Grant feel young…alright that was kind of mean. When Grant & Isaac met in college, Grant was a freshman and Isaac was a senior. Isaac forced Grant to get out of his comfort zone when Grant joined the same student organization as him. Grant is forever grateful for his positive influence, but always take the opportunity to poke at his age. Cheers Isaac!

Grace Croat

Bridesmaid

Meet Grace, the bridesmaid who has been part of Catie's life for nearly 9 years - the groom's sister. Grace was only 13 years old when Catie first started seeing Grant. Their bond has grown over the past 9 years as they have supported each other through various life events. Grace is the sister Catie never had and she plays a special role in this wedding celebration.

Elias Hinrichsen

Groomsman

Elias goes by multiple names – the name depending on how his college roommates are feeling at that point in time. Elias & Grant also met during college, and they had a special connection – they are both bad at golf. All jokes aside, these two spent countless hours on the course, on the College Hill, and in the living room yelling at one another as they played a golf video games against one another during the winter months. Cheers Elias!

Gus

Ring Bearer

When Catie and Grant got engaged, they both knew who they wanted to be the ring bearer - Luka... but unfortunately Luka is their pet cat and he would have ended up miles away pretty quickly if they let him outside. If Catie got her way, the ring bearer would have been their dog, but since Grant has a "house / yard first" rule, they don't have a dog yet. So, allow us to introduce you to Gus, the adorable and loyal ring bearer for Catie and Grant's wedding. Gus holds a special place in their hearts as one of Catie's parents' golden retrievers. Over the years, Grant and Catie have had the joy of growing up alongside these beloved canine companions. With his wagging tail and boundless enthusiasm, Gus embodies the love and happiness that dogs bring into our lives. He's a furry reminder of the cherished memories shared with these loyal companions, making their wedding day even more memorable.

Carson Jespersen

Groomsman

Carson & Grant met when Grant first met Catie. As the brother of the bride, Carson tried to warn him about all the stuff Grant would have to put up with if he ever ended up marrying her. He warned him about her picky palette, her relentless overuse of blankets, and her beauty sleep schedule. 9 years later, everything he said is still correct. Cheers Carson!

Kyle Schott

Usher

He may not look like it – but this guy is one of the most athletic guys that Grant knows (friendly jokes here). Kyle is always getting the friend group together go play pickleball, go for a ride, or hit the links. There is no slowing this guy down, and it has served Grant well. The two of them spent a year leading a college student organization on campus, which brought them closer to one another. Cheers Kyle!

Chase Eiklenborg

Usher

The logical and tenacious one in the friend group. Quick witted, and always there to lend a helping hand. Grant always calls Chase when he doesn’t want to go on a long bike ride by himself. Chase always wants to hit hills, while Grant prefers flat. They constantly push one another to be better. Cheers Chase!
