This is the tale of two teenagers A guy they called P And a girl name T Who were introduced to each other by a true friend- Cyndi Fast friends they became But they stayed in their own lane Which allowed them to each grow & mature Individually Enjoying the years of Bachelorhood P was in his element and feeling good While T, pretty and bold Was over relationships From kissing one too many toads Through it all T & P never lost touch From Movies, to dinners, to hang out sessions Potential suitors felt it was too much Are you sure you’re just friends? YES Y’all NEVER got together? NO But nobody believed them They thought the friendship was just for “Show” T & P never understood why so many questions But little did they know That EVERYONE else could see it but them The grow.... Cancelling dates just to hang Became their thang The grow... Drop off’s at 4am Platonic as it was That’s how they got it in The grow... Family camping trips And late night wine sips The grow... Until that night when they shared their first kiss GROWN. T & P never knew it would feel like this A true friendship that grew into a healthy & true LOVE Oh what sweet bliss Funny part is that NOBODY was surprised by TP’s relationship Especially Cyndi who claims “I did this”....
