Is there a dress code?

Yes! Wedding Dress Code: Black-Tie Optional We’d love for you to join us in your most elegant attire! While tuxedos and formal gowns are not required, we encourage guests to dress to impress. Men may wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie. Women may opt for a formal gown, a long dress, or a chic cocktail dress. Feel free to showcase your personal style—just keep it classy and polished. Welcome Party Dress Code: Summer Cocktail Attire Ladies—think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elevated separates. We ask men to lean towards button-down shirts, sport coats, slacks, or a lightweight linen suit. Newport evenings are breezy, so consider a layer!

Only if your invitation says so! All guests will be addressed on the invitations.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding is going to be an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Will transportation be provided to the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We’re pleased to offer transportation to the venue via the iconic Newport Viking Trolley from the two hotels where many of our guests are staying: 1. Newport Harbor Island Resort – The trolley will depart promptly at 4:10 PM from the parking garage area on the property. 2. Hotel Viking – Pickup will be at 4:40 PM in front of the hotel’s main entrance. Both trolleys will drop guests off directly in front of The Bohlin. Please note: Return transportation will not be provided. However, there are plenty of options for getting back, including Uber, pedicabs, and hotel-supported bus service.

Is there parking available?

Yes! For the Wedding: The venue has limited number of parking spots available for $20 per spot. If you are staying in Newport, we recommended uber/walk/pedi cab over. For the Welcome Party: Parking is available at Newport Harbor Island Resort: – Self-parking: $35 overnight (hourly rates also available), per car – Valet: $45 per night, per car

Are the events outside?
Answer
Yes! Both the Welcome Party and Wedding are planned to be held outdoors. In the event of rain, we have contingency plans in place. Please note that Newport can get chilly and windy after sunset, so we recommend bringing a light layer just in case. Wedding - The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to take place outside. If it rains, we’ll move under a tent. The reception will be held under a tent on the water. Welcome Party The Welcome Party is planned to be outside on the water. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the celebration indoors to the event space.
