Father of the groom, Gale retired a decorated B-52 pilot. An award-winning pig farmer (ask him) and basketball coach who now calls Florida home.....bask in the sun, Gale. You've earned it. Caleb has always known that if he got married, Gale would be the one standing by his side as his best man because well, he has been the best man for the past 37 years of Caleb's life. No better example of what a man should be right here folks. Also, ask him about the time Caleb got scored on by a girl in an AAU tournament in high school. Gale was the only one laughing so hard, the whole arena could hear it.....he was also Caleb's coach at the time.

From their 4H days to endless summers spent together in Texas & Kansas, Hope is the Romy to Kelsey's Michele. The Rachel to her Monica. The Matt Damon to her Ben Affleck. Ok you get it. One of Kelsey's oldest friends, Hope is quite literally the definition of "sugar and spice & everything nice" and will win you over with her sweet Texan drawl. An amazing mama of 2 and wife to a Lawrence local, she is hilariously funny with out knowing it. And if you knew Hope & Kelsey 15 years ago, you'd probably find them belting out Shania Twain (off key) in matching neon mumu's and plotting their next angle of convincing Hope's parents to move back to Kansas.

Upon meeting Jared for the first time in college, Caleb said to himself, "who is this bozo?" They quickly preceded to become close friends formed by a bond of self-deprecating humor. There is rarely a minute that goes by where these two are not laughing and usually, it's at something mildly inappropriate or each other. Great man, the best stylist/barber in Missouri and a bloke who always has a funny story in his back pocket.
Courtenay Davis

There is a special kind of bond between 2 people who have waded in the depths of hell together. That hell being nursing school, where Courtenay and Kelsey first met. Gaining the reputation at Baker University as "The back row blondes", Kels & Court spent many hours pulling all nighters & memorizing the mechanism of action of every antibiotic for 2 long years together, which eventually led them to working alongside one another at Children's Mercy. Courtenay now is an amazing nurse practitioner & mama of 2 & one of Kelsey's dearest friends. She is a voice of reason with her calming presence & has always been a source of light through every stage of "adulting". But don't let her sweetness fool you..challenge her to a round of golf & you are guaranteed to get dominated.
Jon Davis

Jon and Caleb met many years ago on a film set and quickly became kindred spirits. Jon, a talented director and producer, is always on point with the fashion and dry wit. Jon's short film, "Vows," has been an inspiration to Caleb for years as an artist. Oh, you want a perfectly timed gif?...Jon's also your man. He seemingly has Caleb's number when it comes to a comical rib here and there. This is the first time Caleb has ever publicly admitted that. You're welcome, Jon. The main goal of this weekend will be to get Jon on the dance floor....obviously.

A man of class, sophistication and the most original laugh in these United States of America. Drew is a talented architect, an amazing friend and has very successfully "married up" as the kids say (his wife is Christine Fabin). It should also be noted that Drew and Caleb share a tight bond, which can never be broken....and that bond is Fast and Furious. We would recommend not getting these two talking about it. Or do....if family is everything to you.

"When we first met, I thought you were hilarious. Now that I know you, not so much." These words pretty much sum up Christine and Caleb's close friendship....because Christine literally said this to him. Christine, a brilliant lawyer and a friend who will literally do anything for you. Like the time Caleb called her on morphine after an achilles surgery and asked her to fly from Portland to Kansas City to help him. She booked the flight that day.....Caleb thought the call was a dream he had.

Everything you need to know about Amanda & Kelsey's friendship can be found in Lil Wayne's "The Carter III" album in its entirety. Just kidding (kind of). But seriously, Amanda is kind of like wonder woman. A mama to twins and an amazing teacher in Lawrence, KS, she is equally loving & fun as she is hard-working. She is hilariously charming & the kind of friend who shows up for you in every life situation. The amount of incriminating video footage they collectively own of their lip syncing "music videos" over the years is embarrassing, and if you challenge her to any kind of competitive game..run, don't walk. Because she. will. own. you.

Daniel is a scholar and a gentleman. An incredible economist, Daniel will be open for a debate any time, anywhere. An aspect of Daniel and Caleb's relationship that has created a tight bond and many a long night debating anything from the NBA to technology's affect on our social well-being....yeah, it's gotten that deep. Daniel has also developed a love for Milo which started with the beautifully emotional sentence, "(after laughing) Whoa....what is that thing?"

Livi is the kind of friend you want in your corner. She is kind. And loving. But will always offer her gentle honesty. She has an incredibly strong sense of self. And oh man, she is so loyal. As in, picks-you-up-after-you-call-her-sobbing-on-Southwest-Trafficway-after-suddenly-going-blind-from-a-corneal-abrasian-and-waits-with-you-in-urgent-care kind of loyal. From Sport 2 Sport dances to causing complete mischief in their high school days in Lawrence, to catching up over college breaks, Livi is one of Kelsey's oldest friends, having walked, stumbled & ran through nearly every stage of life together.

Matt and Caleb met through Drew Fabin and also shared an apartment together for awhile. Matt being a very accomplished eye doctor and Caleb a film director, one would imagine their conversations and activities to be at a somewhat sophisticated level. Nay sir. Caleb's greatest memory of living with Matt was when the two 30+yr olds rearranged their entire apartment to have air soft wars....by themselves. It goes without saying, the two were single at the time.

Dog mama, chinese food enthusiest and lover of all things country, Kinzie is one of Kelsey's nieces. She is soft spoken, but also incredibly nurturing. She truly has a love & gift for working with animals, and is one of the most dependable people you will ever meet. Kinzie has always been a bit of a tomboy, and has tolerated her aunt Kelsey teaching her all about "girl" stuff. She loves her pup Chewy, and can probably recite every single word of every Luke Bryan song known to man.

Ava Grace is one of Kelsey's nieces, but so many more things. A younger sister to 3 older brothers; a dog mom to a sassy wiener pup named Fergus Ann; Mother hen to many chickens; And just all around great time. She is funny with out knowing it and self deprecating in the best of ways. She is most notable for her series of Tik Tok videos she conspired with her OG BFF since day 1--her Granny (Dinah Westervelt--Kelsey's mom!).

Alanna is Kelsey's niece and such a sweet heart! She always is rocking a new & fun hair color & also enjoys volleyball. She goes with the flow and always shows up with a smile on her face.

Smart, kind, talented and a heck of a songstress. Denver (Indy and Nory's big sister) is about as intelligent as you could hope a child would be. She's incredibly sweet and a loving big sister to her siblings. Did I mention how smart she was? All I'm saying here people is the girl is going to be your boss someday and you just have to accept that. I'd recommend sucking up to her the whole weekend if you want to get that promotion.

This little girl is about the sweetest thing you could possibly meet. Indy (Nory's twin sister), is a littler shy at first but if she warms up to you, believe me, it will be your accomplishment of the weekend because you'll walk away as a grown adult and say, "I love that girl."

If you've ever seen The Flintstones, this kid is our Bam Bam. Nory (Indy's twin brother) is nothing if not a ball of pure energy and we believe he will be the most stylish male at the wedding...a fact that has taken Caleb 4 months and counting to accept.

Caleb met Kevin (Jared Short's father) during college and it was immediately apparent to Caleb that this man was going to be someone special. A pastor, a philosopher, a humorist and a mentor. That's how Caleb describes him. Kevin can truly do it all with a style and class that is unparalleled. If you want to walk away from a conversation and think, "that guy's really funny and amazingly kind.....also way smarter than me", strike up a convo with this gentleman. Believe me, you won't regret it.
