Tiffany and Le’Nette met at Logan University while taking a course together and it was like Kismet. They became fast friends and soon after, sorority sisters. They became each other’s cheerleader as they navigated through difficult courses and the challenging exams that came with them. Finding out they had a lot in common, they also became a source of support in each other’s personal lives. There bond grew during their time at Logan University and Tiffany became an intrinsic part of Le’Nette’s life. Her love for her sister lead her to assist Mike in making the proposal to Le’Nette extra special. She has woven herself into being a forever-sister in Le’Nette’s life.

Ike was the first Nupe and friend Mike made when he first moved to New Orleans back in 2015. Who would have thought a simple generic message on Facebook letting Nupes know he was moving there, would turn into the friendship these two have today. From day one these two have been rocking with each other. If you ask some folks in New Orleans about the Mike N Ike show, just be prepared. These two brothers from another mother share a bond which goes far beyond Kappa Alpha Psi. These two possess a lifelong bond of brotherhood, who only wish to see each other succeed and be happy. Mike is extremely thankful to have Ike as a friend and is glad he could be a part of this day.

Twenty-two years of friendship. That speaks volumes. Sheila and Le’Nette met through someone they knew mutually and became friends on Mizzou’s campus. Even though Le’Nette transferred to a different university, it did not change their bond. They remained in touch and have supported each other while navigating adulthood. Sheila and Le’Nette have seen the highest highs and the lowest lows together and have stuck by each other through it all. Good music, good laughs, and a good glass of wine works every time.

Dr. Luther St. James everyone. Man, the stories Mike could talk about regarding these two and their New Orleans chronicles. Luther and Mike became friends in 2016 when they became neighbors. One day while both happen to be outside, they sparked up a conversation and ever since then Luther has been a solid Rock in Mike's life. Luther is the one friend Mike goes to for all his medical advice. Mike is always talking about how unselfish Luther is and how thankful he is to have him in his life. Luther is going to always let you know the truth and the real even if it hurts and Mike appreciates that about him. Even though they are both in separate cities, they kick it off right where they left it when they link up. God truly knew what he was doing when he put these two friends in each other's path.
