Maid of Honor
We met in the dorms in 2010, and haven't missed a beat since. It's not often you have a friend who mirrors yourself, gets all your cat jokes, does life with you while being continents away, is your partner in furniture stealing crime, and buys you chocolate. With the depth of our friendship, and making it through just about everything, I couldn't get married without her.
Bridesmaid
Searra started out as a resident on my floor in 2011, and she quickly became one of my best friends. Searra and her family have loved me so well, and we've created memories for a lifetime together. She's my bad ass iron man hero and my solid rock. Her sincere love and friendship has made her someone I cannot imagine life without.
Bridesmaid
I actually met Shannon through Ryan's friend Daniel, and we instantly knew we'd be friends. Shannon and I quickly realized we were more alike than we thought, and I am so thankful for her friendship! We check up with each other constantly, talk about everything, and send many dog mom photos. Since she's been such a big part of our lives as a couple, it only felt right to have her be apart of this big moment too!
Bridesmaid
Jennie and I can't exactly remember how we met, but we had the best summer together in 2014. I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone else that I've laughed so hard with, eaten more dairy free food with, or adventured with more often. She is my friend who makes me laugh and always has time for a good conversation. Getting married without her is not an option!
Junior Bridesmaids
These two girls were a big part of Krista's life after college! They were in the kid's ministry at church, and Krista was blessed enough to be asked to baptize them. While living in California, they were pen pals, and their friendship grew. They are still so special to her and she hopes to continue to watch them grow up into faithful women.
Best Man
Daniel and I grew up together in Highlands Community Church. We spent endless time together in summer camps and high school. Daniel and I have been through the ringer when it comes to life events. From seeing Daniel purchase, destroy, and purchase another jeep, to watching him marry the woman of his dreams. We have been together during every major event in our lives. One fond memory with Daniel was the day he bought his Jeep grand Cherokee. We went over to Bremerton to check the jeep out and Daniel wanted it. After he purchased the jeep we drove out to Ravensdale and spent the day out in the woods. Those were some of the best times we had together, with just us and nature.
Groomsman
I have known Jeff since we were brought into this world, growing as family friends who went camping together every summer and playing baseball together. We have been through a lot in the way of just adventuring through world. We've gone on hikes, drifted trucks in the snow, and just making endless memories that will forever live on in my heart. One in particular that sticks out to me was the summer between junior and senior year of undergrad, while Jeff and I worked together at the golf club at Newcastle. We did everything together that summer. We went to work, then to the gym, then out to whatever plans we had. That summer was one for the record books.
Groomsman
This friendship started back during freshman year of high school. I was trying out for the golf team and Kekoa was the captain already. He instantly took me under his wing almost like a big brother and our relationship grew from there. From growing up together, and seeing each other through the hard times, we have always stayed close. It's that brother bond that will last us through the ages. I remember the time when Kekoa drove down to my parent's ocean house to play in a golf tournament with my dad and I, but on his way down he hit a deer in Aberdeen. Fun memories.
Groomsman
I don't know how to start this description. This guy was one of my original residents back in Dressler when I was a CA. He was a recluse the first few days on the floor and I could never find him. Come to find out he was on the hockey team for Eastern and he was just hanging out with the guys. We sat down one day and just had a personal conversation and the rest is history. The next few years at Eastern we were inseparable going golfing together, 6am workouts every single day and even getting stuck in the snow at Costco where I had to drive his car back with bald tires. He is like my little brother and he helps keep my life interesting.
Groomsman
Another original resident of Dressler that I had the privilege of getting to know and having him become apart of my life. Paul is one of the sweetest guys I know and has helped me get through a lot going through college. I was lucky enough to be his mentor in working with him as a CA in Dressler, and we have continuously grown closer. I will never forget the day we binge watched netflix in Brayden's room without him there for 4 hours straight. Oh the life of undergrad.
Groomsman
Alex and I met through Brayden during undergrad, where we instantly hit it off. Alex a great golfer, and me a wanna be great golfer automatically made it a competition between each other. Besides the competitive drive that solidified our friendship, Alex's thoughtfulness showed me what a true friend he could be. One of the best memories that I have with Alex is when he came down to the 4th of July golf tournament in Ocean shores. Both of us were rusty, but we had a blast and continuously made memories the entire time together. Alex consistently check in with me and my journeys, and I try to do the same.
