The Flour District Bakery & Coffeeshop
This is definitely one of the nicest places we've ever gotten coffee from before. If you decide to stop by, be sure to try one of their humongous cinnamon rolls, any baked goods from the display case or any type of latte (hot or iced) you'd like! Vinny likes his black, but Kara enjoys their caramel, vanilla or lavender flavorings.
Bacon Street Bagels
Finding a good bagel place is essential for everyone, especially us! We love Bacon Street Bagels for so many reasons. If you plan to stay at the Craddock Terry, this will be the closest option for grabbing a quick yet tasty breakfast. Parking can be a little chaotic here, due to the location, but they do accept online ordering which can make getting in and out a breeze. We love the hot breakfast sandwiches, any bagel with their homemade scallion cream cheese or jams.
RA Bistro
One of our favorite dining experiences to date! A beautiful establishment with an extensive menu of food, beverage and dessert options. Some of our favorites include the surf & turf, steak pasta and fried calamari. They also have a wide variety of cocktails and beers on draft. The drinks were excellent and prices are fair to the portion sizes. If you're a foodie - you HAVE to go try RA out.
Cinn City
This bakery specializes in cinnamon buns that come fresh out of the oven! They have a Fan Favorites section as well as a Build Your Own Bun option. It was quite the experience and we hope you’ll try it out too if you’re looking for something sweet.
Riverside Park
One of the first times we ever came to the area, we decided to make a day trip out of it and ended up stopping here to kill time. If you choose to come out this way - be sure to stop by Peakland Market for something to snack on. Their menu changes weekly, but we actually love getting to try something different every time. Be sure to visit their take out market for to try fresh baked goods and other local artisan goods!
The Water Dog
Looking for happy hour somewhere with great food and even better drinks? You'll want to make sure you stop by this one. They have a huge selection of food, beer, wine and cocktails and an awesome atmosphere. Go check out The Water Dog ASAP!
Bell Treasures
This place is truly a window shopper's dream! Tons and tons of vintage goods at a fair price and with such a variety too. Bell's is a multi-level store that definitely has something for everyone. If you love to spend some time perusing the aisles of people's collection - this is a MUST see for you!
Zimmerman’s A Little Bit of Everything
Located right up the street from BellTreasures, this shop is another stop that makes for a wonderful afternoon. What we loved most about Zimmerman's is the large aisles of crystals and other gems as soon as you walk in. This shop also has it's own line of different sauces, condiments and other items that are delicious. So far our favorites are z best and kicking vinegar bbq sauce.
Peaks of Otter Winery
If you're a "here for the views" type of person, this is the place for you! Johnson's Orchards has a great selection of wines that can be purchased by glass, bottle or in a flight. This venue does allow outside food and drink but also has soda and snacks available for purchase. They're open everyday from 12-5 and would love to see you!
