LET’S GET MARRIED.

The year is 2016, Marcus is the star basketball player and in his junior year, while Kylie is the cheerleader on the sideline in her sophomore year at Christopher Newport University. On a Saturday night in September, like most underage college kids, they went out to a bar separately with their group of friends. They officially met, talked, drinks were bought and Kylie's white shorts where turned blue from dancing the night away with Marcus. From there the rest is truly history. The years went on, their friendship grew stronger, other relationships occurred, but both knew there was just something special about the other. In early 2019, months prior to dating, Marcus adopted Rylee and Kylie adopted Kona and even though they didn't really know it yet, that would be the start of their little family. They graduated in May 2019, finally started dating in October 2019 and moved in together. In June of 2021, Kylie convinced Marcus to move to her hometown and before they knew it they were expecting a sweet little boy in August of 2022. They purchased their first home in May of 2022, in time for Kayden to make his arrival into the world. While our relationship hasn't been the most conventional or "by-the-book", it is uniquely us and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are each other's people and always have been, we have always known the special bond we share and know it will last us until we are old and gray. We are so excited to officially become one and share our love in front of all of our family and friends who have been by our sides since the beginning.
