We are happy to answer any questions you may have, and some frequently asked questions have been listed below to help.
Question

WHERE and when?

Answer

The wedding is October 4th, 2025, and the ceremony begins at 2:00 PM at St Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro NY. We suggest arriving no later than 1:30 PM to grant yourself time to find parking and to take your seat inside the church. The outdoor reception begins immediately after the church service and will be held at Michaela's family home, 134 Idlewild Rd, Marlboro NY. The ceremony and reception space are a 5 minute drive apart.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. A suit or a dress shirt with a tie is suggested. A midi to full length dress, or dressy separates are welcome. Keep in mind, you will be on the grass- so plan your shoe accordingly. A number of guests have asked if there are any preferred colors to wear, and the answer is to wear whatever makes you shine- just avoid wearing white. Please also avoid denim, flannel, and shorts.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

No later than August 23rd. Please return RSVPs via postal mail to: Michaela Casey PO Box 58 Marlboro, NY 12542 If you misplaced your RSVP card, please bring it to the attention of the bride, groom, or someone close to them ASAP so you are accounted for by the deadline.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

No- this is an adult only event, with the exception of the children in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there a shuttle for guests?

Answer

We do have a bus coming and going from the hotel, Uber is also available in our area. Parking for guest vehicles will be across the road from the house, with parking attendants to assist. We are urging all of our guests to drink responsibly and ensure they have a ride home. If you are concerned about making these arrangements for yourself, please tell someone as we are all now one big family.

Question

Is it Okay to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Of course it is, our guests are welcome to share the joy of the day however they'd like. We do ask that our guests refrain from cellphone use and taking photos during the ceremony at St. Mary's. We want our guests to be as in "in the moment" as they can. We will be sure to share the professional wedding photos with all of our guests to cherish and remember the special day.

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation explicitly states the name of your partner, or lists for ex. "John Doe and Guest", then yes!
