Wedding Party

Meet a few of our friends and family who will be dancing the night away with us!

Chloe Breaux-Kearney

Matron of Honor

Chloe and Alaina have been inseparable since the day Chloe was born. As Alaina’s younger sister, Chloe often found herself playing the cameraman while Alaina starred as the rockstar — but despite the unofficial roles, they’ve remained the best of friends. When they’re together, there’s guaranteed to be nonstop laughter, endless TikTok references, and an arguably unhealthy amount of caffeine.

Jenna Keaton

Matron of Honor

Alaina and Jenna met on the first floor of DeMoss Hall at Liberty University in 2015. Jenna had a book in hand, and Alaina has never been one to stay quiet when it comes to books — so an instant friendship was born. Since then, they’ve adventured through West Virginia, North Carolina, and Louisiana. Alaina's favorite adventure was the three years they were roommates. Their apartment was always filled with laughter, Wendy’s takeout, stacks of books in every corner, and The Office always playing in the background. Somewhere in those years, friendship grew into sisterhood. Though they haven’t lived in the same city since 2020, Alaina and Jenna remain the closest of friends.

Jordyn Kingery

Bridesmaid

Alaina and Jordyn’s friendship began back in 2016 on the 8th floor of Commons 1 at Liberty. Ironically, that floor was reserved for Honor students and Eagle Scholars… and yet, somehow, neither of them qualified (thankfully, there wasn’t a bouncer). At first, Alaina thought Jordyn was way too cool to ever be her friend. But one late-night conversation about what God was doing in their lives—plus a passionate tangent about Lord of the Rings—changed everything. From that night on, they were inseparable, bonded by their love for the Lord, good books, and plenty of coffee. Nearly a decade later, not much has changed—you can still find them laughing over lattes at the Farmer’s Market.

Morgan Breaux

Bridesmaid

Alaina first met Morgan when Morgan started dating her brother, JJ. She’s grateful to call Morgan not just a sister, but a true friend. Their bond grew stronger during a spontaneous trip to Florida, where days were spent lounging on the beach and nights were filled with puzzle-solving adventures. Morgan and Alaina share a love for Mexican food, good books, and the occasional adrenaline-fueled Fast and Furious marathon—usually accompanied by guacamole and queso. Even though time zones separate them, Alaina is thankful for technology that lets her FaceTime with Morgan, JJ, and their little ones, keeping their laughter and connection just a screen away.

Kayleigh Breaux

Bridesmaid

Alaina and Kayleigh met when Alaina's brother, Nathan, started dating her. Their friendship really took off in biology lab, where the professor seemed determined to mix them up at every turn. Kayleigh quickly became a beloved member of the Breaux family and one of Alaina's all-time favorite people. The two share a love of books and running—recently tackling a 10K together, though Kayleigh definitely left Alaina in the dust. Kayleigh also holds the title of the person who first exposed Alaina to Costco. Alaina is only mildly annoyed that a six-hour road trip now separates them—though it makes their reunions all the sweeter.

Chelsea Bussiere

Bridesmaid

Alaina first met Chelsea in 2023 at a youth ministry event, but it wasn’t until she and Ian started dating that she truly got to know her. They reconnected around Christmas, yet it wasn’t until a spring 2025 trip to New England with Ian that their friendship really blossomed. They share a love for dogs and binging Gilmore Girls. Alaina is excited to call Chelsea a sister in just a few short months.

McKayla Hill

Bridesmaid

McKayla and Alaina met at a small group, but their friendship truly blossomed when Alaina lived with McKayla for 10 months while her husband was deployed. As roommates, they bonded over walks at the dog park, cooking delicious meals, and watching favorite movies. Alaina’s dog, Stella, and McKayla’s dog, Mazie, became begrudgingly (and unknowingly) best friends. Alaina especially treasured their nightly popcorn sessions, where they would unwind and debrief after long days. Today, Alaina and McKayla still enjoy these debrief sessions—though now more infrequently and often squeezed into lunch breaks at the Jerry Falwell Library.

Rebekah Romick

Bridesmaid

ebekah and Alaina met at LWBC in 2019, and their friendship quickly blossomed through a Young Adult Bible study led by Rebekah’s husband, Elijah. Today, they can often be found serving together in youth ministry, relaxing by the pool, or hunting for treasures while thrifting. Some of Alaina’s favorite memories include game nights and camping trips with Rebekah during student ministry events. United by their love for books, Pride and Prejudice, coffee, and Jesus, their friendship continues to grow in both fun and faith.

Nick Doan

Best Man

Ian and Nick first connected the same way Ian met Alaina—through a small group. Late-night conversations about theology and faith, paired with spirited game nights, quickly turned acquaintances into brothers. Ian often doubles as Nick’s disc golf caddy and proudly claims the title of “uncle” to Nick’s dog, Tubbs. Fun fact: Nick and his wife, Calli, like to take credit for helping Ian and Alaina’s friendship move beyond the small group—thanks to countless game nights. After all, nothing sparks romance quite like a little board game competition.

Mike Malcom

Best Man

Liberty’s East Campus is known for many things, but perhaps its greatest accomplishment was bringing Mike and Ian together. They first crossed paths during their second year of the Master of Divinity program, when a simple roommate assignment turned into a lasting brotherhood. Like any good future pastors, their home was marked by movie nights, jiu-jitsu practice, and plenty of late-night theological debates. These days, Ian has to fly across the country to see Mike—but he (mostly) forgives him for choosing to live so far away.

Elijah Romick

Groomsman

Ian and Elijah first crossed paths in seminary, but their friendship didn’t really take root until Ian joined a small group hosted by Elijah and his wife, Rebekah. That very group also happened to be where Ian first met Alaina. What began with Elijah simply opening his home grew into a genuine friendship, and today, he and Ian serve side by side in LWBC’s student ministries. Fun fact: Ian and Alaina had actually known Elijah for the same amount of time—but they didn’t meet each other until nearly three years later.

Ben Hill

Groomsman

Ian and Ben first connected in a Young Adult Small Group, where late-night game sessions and deep conversations about faith quickly turned into a lasting friendship. They bond over football—though the Patriots vs. Ravens always causes a temporary ceasefire—and now spend their time laughing through game nights and nerding out over musicals.

Wyatt Joyner

Groomsman

Wyatt and Ian met during their first year at Liberty Seminary, leaving a trail of chaos that made professors quake in their wake. They quickly bonded over sarcasm and Starbucks, and their spirited debates on theology only deepened their friendship and faith. Rumor has it they’re still studying for finals (and causing mischief) at the Jerry Falwell Library.

Caleb Tarpley

Groomsman

Ian met Caleb during his first year at Liberty Seminary. A shared love for biking, board games, and Subway quickly forged a strong friendship. For about a year, they served side by side at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Today, they can still be found exploring local bike paths, grabbing a sandwich at Subway, or spending time together watching movies and baking cookies.

Ryan Rehberg

Groomsman

Ryan and Ian’s friendship officially started at a Young Adult Small Group in 2022, but let’s be honest—Mario Smash Bros really sealed the deal. Ryan proudly claims responsibility for Ian’s legendary role as DJ for LWBC’s softball team. Even though miles sometimes get in the way, their friendship survives on sheer skill… and an impressive Snapchat streak that’s basically a world record.

Justin Lutes

Groomsman

Ian and Justin’s story began in 2019, courtesy of Justin’s now-wife, Kaleigh. What started as a casual connection quickly turned into an epic friendship fueled by two things: a love for great food and a month-long game of tag that had them running (and hiding) like it was a full-time job. Nothing says “best friends” quite like avoiding each other for the sake of fun. Along the way, Ian got the incredible honor of walking alongside Justin in his faith journey—and even baptized him on his birthday at Camp Hydaway, making the day unforgettable in more ways than one.
