Kaitlynn is more than a friend—she’s a soul sister. We've known each other since birth (yes, literally), and she’s been part of my life ever, from “baby Kaitlynn” to lifelong friend. Whether we're pondering the mysteries of the universe or cracking ourselves up over something completely random, time and distance have never changed our bond. Kaitlynn has always been a powerhouse (on and off the court)— who always makes us proud. She brings unmatched energy, joy, and heart to every room, and we couldn't imagine a better person to stand beside us.
Kasie
Bridesmaid
Kasie has been part of my life for as long as I can remember—Kaitlynn’s big sister and my lifelong friend through every phase, every porch party, and every moment in between. She’s the go-to for movie quotes, the undefeated DJ of our get-togethers, and always up for a good time (especially if it includes Busch Lattes). But beyond the fun, Kasie is fiercely loyal and deeply protective—the kind of friend who shows up when it matters most. We're so lucky to have her by our sides on this day and every day.
Ashton

Ashton - or Ash as I call her most of the time - is my ride-or-die. From the moment we met in middle school, something just clicked—and surviving the chaos and drama of our teenage years together only cemented it. Ashton is the first person I’d call if I needed someone to kick a$$ and take names (and she’s definitely done that for me). We’ve always had each other’s backs, even when the $hit truck has followed us around throwing curveballs along the way. When Ashton became a mom to Keilyn, our bond grew even deeper—forming a kind of chosen family that’s never changed. She’s strong, caring, and one of the most loyal people I know. We're so thankful to have Ash in our lives.

Bethani is my first cousin—but more than that, she’s been one of my closest friends for as long as I can remember. We grew up side by side, thicker than thieves, with a childhood full of homemade photo shoots, backyard performances, dinner parties we charged our parents to attend (after raiding their kitchens, of course), and countless hours spent at wrestling tournaments. Beth has a permanent place in my heart—full of faith, joy, and unwavering support. If you ever need a prayer warrior, she’s the girl for the job. I’m so honored to have her standing with us on our big day.
Miesha

Meet Miesha—Marcus’s lifelong “Twinkie twin.” (Yes, that’s what they used to be called!) While Marcus likes to joke that she stole all his nutrients in the womb, there’s no denying the deep and unshakable bond they share. They fight like twins, talk like twins, and—let’s be honest—have you seen them? They look alike too! Miesha brings creativity, light, and contagious energy to every room she walks into. We’re so excited to have her be a part of our day, standing beside us as both family and friend.
Briauna
Bridesmaid
Briauna is Marcus’s fiercely protective big sis—and their bond is something special. They can make each other laugh like no one else, and even as adults, they still look out for one another in that deep, unshakable sibling way. Briauna pulls no punches—she’s strong, loyal, and real—but she’s also got the biggest heart. She’s always there for us, and watching her step into her “mom era” with her sweet daughter and our flower girl, Olive, has been such a joy. We’re so lucky to have her in our corner.
Becca

Becca is my sister-in-law—and bless her heart, she’s married to my brother! But truly, having Becca as part of our family is such a gift. She’s incredibly strong, whether she’s matching my brother step-for-step building a patio or just handling whatever life throws her way with grace and grit. Becca isn’t just the perfect partner for my brother—she fits right in with all of us in the best ways. Some of my favorite memories with her involve a crackling fire, a cold drink, and an intense game of Five Crowns (complete with plenty of trash talk from Marcus, too). We’re so glad she’s part of the crew on this special day.
Emma
Bridesmaid
Emma is one of the kindest souls I know. We met back in 6th grade and have been friends ever since. Being around Emma has always felt like a deep breath—she reminds me of slow, comforting days in her mom Coo’s kitchen, summer baseball games, and the endless stream of notes we passed in school hallways. Even though she now lives across the pond in Germany, Emma’s friendship has never wavered. She’s genuine, thoughtful, and always there when it counts—and I’m so thankful to have her with us on this special day.
Michael
Best Man
Michael is Marcus’s “little” cousin! He’s our Best Man, and for good reason. Michael is hilarious, kind-hearted, and incredibly talented. He grew up playing drums in church and now keeps the beat at venues all over, making music a huge part of who he is. He’s also the guy who shows up when you need to talk, always ready with a listening ear. And if you ask Marcus, he’ll proudly (and repeatedly) remind you that he taught Michael everything he knows about fishing. We’re lucky to call him family and even luckier to have him by our side.
Rayquon
Groomsman
Rayquon and Marcus go way back—to the days of neighborhood shenanigans, marathon sessions of Blitz and Serious Sam, and childhood adventures that turned into lifelong friendship. They’ve known each other since elementary school and have a bond built on loyalty, laughter, and showing up for each other through both good times and tough ones. Rayquon is the definition of a true friend, and we’re so glad he’s standing with us on this special day.
Bryon
Groomsman
Bryon was the first true friend Marcus made after moving to Morgantown, and their bond was forged the way many great ones are—through shared frustration at work (shoutout to the Gabe’s warehouse days!). From those early days, their friendship has grown into one marked by fishing, helping hands, and plenty of laughs. Bryon even showed up to help change out our shutters—smiling through what turned out to be a much bigger job than expected. He’s loyal, laid-back, and always there when it counts. We’re so glad to have him standing with us.
Chris
Groomsman
Marcus and Chris met as young “bucks” who were just crazy enough to join the military. They both ended up at 4th CEB, where they forged a friendship through the fine art of “embracing the suck” and "cocooning to disassociate from reality" (true military brotherhood at its finest!). Though those days are behind them and they don’t get to see each other as often as they’d like, Marcus and Chris have stayed close—always keeping in touch and having each other’s backs no matter what life throws their way.
Brock
Groomsman
Brock is Whitney’s big brother—and yes, his first name is about to become her last (what are the odds?!). Even as siblings, they’ve always had a friendship at the core—one that’s only grown stronger with time. As kids, Brock was convinced he was going to be a cowboy (he had the lasso skills to prove it & used to tie me up while mom was working!), and he once hurled a pen at me across the room so hard it stuck straight into the wall. He also “took” me to my first party—hosted at our house, while our parents were away. But beyond the sibling mischief, Brock has always been someone I (and now both of us) can count on—whether it was rescuing her after a car accident, helping with car repairs, or just always keeping the door open. We’re grateful for him in so many ways.
Braxton
Groomsman
Braxton may be the smallest groomsman, but he’s got one of the biggest hearts. As Brock’s son, he made me “Aunt Whit” 12 years ago—and that title has been one of the greatest joys of my life. In fact, one of the first things Marcus noticed when we started dating was how much I cherished that role. Brax is goofy, kind, and clever—he can fix just about anything, crack a joke like a pro, and isn’t afraid to break out his Bob Ross wig for a special occasion. We couldn’t imagine this day without him.
Jordan
Groomsman
Jordan is the oldest of our awesome nephews! As he gets ready to start high school, he’s officially the “cool dude” of the crew, but he’s never too cool to hang out, bait a hook, or jump into a game with us. Just this year, we were fishing together when Jordan caught an absolute monster, and the look on his face was unforgettable. It’s moments like that that remind us how lucky we are to have him in our lives. We’re so excited he’s part of our big day!
Jaxon
Groomsman
Jaxon is another one of our awesome nephews, and he keeps us laughing constantly. With his head half in the clouds and a heart that’s big and kind, Jax brings joy wherever he goes. He and Marcus have a shared love of animals and an impressive stash of random facts that fuel their always-interesting conversations. When we asked Jaxon to be part of our wedding, he thought we were getting married in Death Valley instead of Canaan Valley—which honestly checks out. He keeps us on our toes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Olive
Flower Girl
Sweet Olive is our beautiful flower girl and the daughter of Briauna. She turned 1 this April and, though she arrived teeny tiny, she’s been full of spirit and strength from the very start—just like her mama and Uncle Marcus. Olive keeps everyone on their toes as she explores, grows, and charms us all with her big personality. We were lucky enough to keep her for a weekend recently, and it was pure joy—she’ll melt your heart with a snuggle one minute and be off on her next adventure the next. We can’t wait to see her toddle down the aisle!
Jameson
Ring Bearer
Jameson is our adorable ring bearer and the son of Tyler—who is like a baby brother to Whitney thanks to a lifelong “adopted family” bond. Jameson will be just over a year old at the time of the wedding, and with those big baby blues, he’s sure to steal the show (and everyone’s hearts). He may be small, but his charm is mighty—and we’re so excited he’ll be part of our special day.
Cheko
Officiant
Cheko is Marcus’s uncle—and the life of the party wherever he goes. Known for his signature style, warm spirit, and always having something delicious cooking or baking, Cheko brings energy and heart into every space he’s in. Having lived together during different chapters of life, their bond runs deep. Though they may give each other a hard time (as all great relationships do), their connection is full of love. Cheko pours his soul into his church, his family, and helping others—and we’re honored to have him officiate our wedding.
