Question

Will I need a car?

Answer

If you're heading in from out of town, we suggest renting a car, as Uber can definitely be unreliable in the local area where the venue is located. All major car rental companies are available at Harrisburg International airport.

How long is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is a full weekend affair. The actual ceremony on Saturday will start promptly at 4:30pm. The bar opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm, and the music will end around 10:30pm. An after-party will follow until around midnight, or whenever we get kicked out of the bar. *All wedding events are located on the Allenberry Resort grounds.

When should I arrive?

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm on Saturday. We ask that all guests have a seat by 4:15pm at the latest.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is ample parking in the main lot of Allenberry. Follow the signs for "The Brien Wedding" and you'll find exactly where you need to be!

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. A suit and tie for the men, and a floor-length dress, cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit for the ladies.

What about the weather?

October in Central PA can be a little unpredictable. We suggest you plan for colder temperatures, to be on the safe side. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be outdoors under a tent.

Can I bring my kids/dogs?

Unfortunately, all of our events will be for human adults only.

Food Allergies?

Answer

All food served at the wedding will be gluten free. If you have additional food allergies or preferences, please reach out to Kate as soon as possible!
