Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend booking in our room block at the Embassy Suites. If you choose not to there are plenty of hotel, condo, and Airbnb accommodations available in the area.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are requesting a Black Tie Optional dress code for all guests. For the ladies we ask that you wear long dresses, gowns, or formal wear of your comfort level. We kindly ask the ladies to refrain from wearing white, ivory, champagne, cream, and shades of yellow in their attire. For the men we recommend wearing suits and tuxes to stay in the formal dress code. We highly encourage everyone to wear vibrant and fun summer colors!! Thank you in advance for respecting our dress code 💕

Question

When Should I Arrive at the Venue?

Answer

Currently, our ceremony will began promptly at 5:00pm. Please arrive to the venue no later than 4:30pm. Cocktail hour will follow shortly after the ceremony.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 15.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to the nature of the event we have decided to make our wedding adults-only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can still celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the guest named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please refer to the "Registry" tab above for more information.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing any shuttles the day of our wedding. Myrtle Beach is a very popular summer destination and there will be lots of Uber's and Lyft's available. We also recommend making a new friend and carpooling! If you plan to drive and park your car you may leave it overnight at the venue as long as it is picked up by 10:00am the following day. There is a large parking lot right in front of the venue.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Our venue is happy to accommodate all dietary restrictions. When it comes time to RSVP there will be section where you can list all allergies, intolerances, and preferences.

Question

What happens if the weather is bad?

Answer

We heard rain is a good thing! In the case of inclement weather we will provide some umbrellas and we encourage guest to prepare accordingly. If the weather is extremely bad we will move the ceremony inside and pray for the best.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

During the ceremony we ask that all guests refrain from the use of their phones, especially for photography. After the ceremony we highly encourage you to take as many pictures as you would like and post them with the hashtag #thebrides If you forget to take pictures, no worries! Just follow Mrs. O'Reilly on Facebook and you will see a play by play of the day 😆

Question

Are there any special requests for guests?

Answer

We would like to thank all of our guest in advance for taking the time to travel to celebrate our marriage. We have no requests besides your attendance, take advantage of the open bar and free food, and to have a hell of a time!
