Great for coffee and pastries! There are also locations on Cannon Steet and Meeting Street.
A delicious option for brunch.
Bennett and I always make sure to stop here for lunch when we're in town.
A must stop for sandwiches and snacks when headed to the beach in Folly.
Another Folly Beach spot. We like to go after the beach. Outside, casual bar with a small food menu and music (sometimes).
A delicious downtown date night spot. Make a reservation or try your luck on seats at the bar.
We love Italian! And a rooftop! (rooftop is first-come, first-served; reservation recommended for main dining room).
A cute little boutique on King that's easy to miss. Up the yellow stairs next to Las Olas.
A fun boutique right off of King Street with men's and women's wear.
Charleston's three closest beach areas are Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, and Isle of Palms. Folly is our favorite, but you can't go wrong. Each offer great food spots and access to beautiful beaches.
Beyond exploring King Street for some shopping, some of our favorite places to walk downtown are along The Battery (Murray Blvd), around Colonial Lake, & through the Harleston Village/Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhoods. The website linked below has great route suggestions.
