Our Story

We met at Cal Fit in June of 2012 where we were nervous about starting a relationship because Tina was headed off to the University of Oregon in just September.

We took our first trip to Disneyland in December 2012. This would be our first of many!

Our first full year of long distance was behind us and we spent all summer going on adventures like doing The Color Run in August 2013.

I came up to Oregon to celebrate Tina's 20th birthday in January 2014!

We have gone to countless Giants games but nothing was quite like to seeing Tim Lincecum throw a no-hitter in June 2014!

Even with our crazy schedules of full time school for both of us we always managed to sneak in a couple day trips here and there and even get great weather somehow for December 2015.

After graduating college I moved back to California and we were finally able to live in the same state as of June 2016! Four years of long distance was finally over.

Running has always been a staple in our lives and you can always find us out on Thanksgiving morning! November 2016 was no exception :)

After a grueling fire academy, I graduated in March 2017 and there's no one else I would have wanted by my side.

Once I passed probation with the fire department, it only seemed fitting to celebrate in Disneyland in March 2018 :)

We decided that running one race wasn't enough for us so we decided to tackle the Dopey Challenge together in January 2019. We ran four days in a row, a 5k, a 10k, a half marathon then a marathon!

We finally made it back around to Oregon together for Kyle's first Oregon football game in October 2019!

After watching 'Free Solo' we wanted to see El Capitan in person in January 2020 and it absolutely blew our minds! One of our favorite New Year celebrations to date.

On our eight year anniversary in July 2020, we got engaged! The easiest yes ever!

Fun fact, it poured rain about four minutes after this photo was taken and we had to scramble and find our way back to the trail then back to the car hahaha.

And now, here we are. We feel so lucky to call Sacramento home and we cannot wait to begin the next chapter of our life together :)
