Pigeon Forge
This is where we got engaged! Pigeon Forge is a great spot for a family vacation! Attractions include moonshine tastings, dinner shows, mini golf, and museums! Some of our favorites include The Ole Smokey Barn at the Island, Junction 35 Distillery, the Titanic Museum, and Alcatraz East Crime Museum. For food, we highly recommend stopping at Sunliner Diner or The Old Mill for breakfast!
The Old Mill Restaurant
The Old Mill features a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. This business is one of the happy couple's favorites as they also have a forge, distillery, candy shop, general store, and pottery store on the property!
Dollywood
Pigeon Forge is also home to Dollywood, the local theme park. If you're traveling with family or friends, we highly recommend a visit to the park!
Gatlinburg
Gatlinburg is THE place if your looking for moonshine tastings and distillery tours! Gatlinburg is home to two Ole Smoky Locations (The Barrelhouse and The Holler) as well as Sugarlands Distilling Co. Not to mention, you can also find free cider and wine tastings along the strip as well! There are also family friendly options on the strip including The Hollywood Star Cars Museum, Anakeesta, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Ripley's Aquarium, and so much more.
Knoxville
We are so happy to call Knoxville our new home! We still have so much to explore in the area, but we do have a few recommendations! Knoxville Zoo and Ijam's Nature Center are great for outdoor fun. As for food, we highly recommend Aretha Frankenstein's for breakfast, The Kennedy for dinner, and Cruze Farms for dessert!
