After being together for 13.5 years, we are finally getting the wedding of our dreams and our kid gets to be there; how cool! 2020 brought much heartbreak, including the necessity of us canceling our Big Gay Wedding. This reality hit hard-- still, we knew that someday we would get all the people we love under one roof. And we even made friends along the way. We chose this weekend because Pride means a lot to us. It's a weekend that celebrates who we are, and it is also the weekend of Oakley's birthday. Yes, it seems impossible but, he will be turning 4 years old the Sunday after our wedding...which is why we are calling this event, "The Big Wedding Birthday Party." (3-year-olds are very self-absorbed, like they should be.) Through ups and downs, pandemics and postpartum, through storms and sunny days...one thing has stayed constant in our relationship...our love for each other. That is what we want to share with you all on this day, on this weekend. Share your love with our love and maybe we can power the city for just one night.
