Great breakfast spot in Estes Park!
Amazing taqueria in downtown Estes - great for dinner and a margarita!
A beautiful trail right inside Rocky Mountain National Park with fantastic views. Easy access to the first lake, and you can keep going for a more rigorous hike to see all four lakes if you'd like!
By far the main drag in Boulder, filled with cute shops, delicious restaurants and street performing characters. Our favorite spots are Nod & Rose for shopping, Alpine Modern for coffee, Oak for booze and trendy dishes, The Kitchen (Next Door, Upstairs or the main one) for American eats, Bar Taco for Mexican, West End Tavern for meat with a side of meat, and Japango for sushi. If you're feeling extra touristy check out the Boulder Psychic Institute and get a palm reading!
A beautiful 4.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail that features a lake. It is in Nederland, about 20 miles away from Estes Park. There will be snow, so you will want snow shoes. You can rent them in Boulder at many of the shops for about $30.
A very intense trail right next to downtown Boulder. Probably the busiest trail in town because of the beautiful views at the top, but don't underestimate altitude. This constant uphill trail will kick your behind. We recommend not attempting until you have been in CO at least 12 hours and have enjoyed LOTS of water.
