Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think cocktail chic, the kind of outfit that says, 'I clean up well, but I'm still hitting the dance floor after my third shot of tequila.' No jeans, no plaid, and definitely no stealing the bride's spotlight with white or ivory.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration. Translation: cocktails over crayons, dance floor over daycare. We promise they'll survive a night without you (and you'll thank us later).

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Obviously. Cocktail hour at the silo bar will feature cans and speciality drinks, followed by an open bar to fuel the dance floor all night long.

What about gifts?

Answer

We've already got the pots, pans, and throw pillows... what we really need is help building our future (and maybe funding a few cocktails on the honeymoon). Cash gifts are preferred, although your presence is more than enough.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yep! There's parking on-site if your driving in. The catch? Cars need to be gone by 9:00am Sunday, so no moving in permanently. For anyone staying off-site, a shuttle will run twice 11pm and 12:30am, so you can party hard and leave the keys behind.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yep! Space on the shuttle to the ceremony is limited, so RSVP early if you want a spot. After the party, the shuttle heads back at 11:00pm (for the sensible ones) and 12:30am (for the diehards still on the dace floor).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We've chosen a more intimate celebration with the people closest to us. As such, only those named on your invitation are invited. If you've got a plus one, their name will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding, and for making our day extra special just by being there.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you're needed at another event, it will be listed on your invitation. Otherwise, just bring your best dance moves for the wedding day!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’ve set up a hotel block at the Holiday Inn! Rooms are limited and go quickly, so book early. If you miss out, no stress — there are lots of other hotels along the same street. Little FYI: The hotel block opens for booking in January 2026 and has a two-night minimum stay. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sarnia – Point Edward 1498 Venetian Blvd, Point Edward, ON N7T 7W6
