Shuttle from the Hampton Inn and the Hyatt to the Haw River Ballroom

We are offering a shuttle from both hotels (Hyatt and Hampton Inn) in Carrboro to the Haw River Ballroom for the wedding on Sunday. Boarding times: 3:15 at the Hyatt and 3:45 at the Hampton Inn. Note: Parking is limited at the Haw River Ballroom. There are a few spaces at the venue and some down the street. While you may be able to get an Uber or Lyft to the venue, those services will NOT pick you up there.

Travel Note

Wedding location—important!

Our charming wedding venue, the Haw River Ballroom, is in the heart of the tiny town of Saxapahaw, NC. This is over an hour away from downtown Raleigh, just under an hour from Dylan and Jocelyn’s house or from downtown Cary, and about 25 minutes from Carrboro. We HIGHLY recommend staying in Carrboro, a historic area of Chapel Hill. We've reserved blocks at two hotels and will provide shuttles between them and the Haw River Ballroom for the wedding (details below). Though rental cars won't be necessary for traveling between the hotels and the wedding venue, they may facilitate travel around the triangle if you would like to explore Raleigh, Cary (closest to Dylan and Jocelyn's house), or Durham. Walking and Uber-ing around the Carrboro / Chapel Hill area is also a fun and inexpensive option.
