Cocktail attire (suits for men and cocktail/long dresses for women). Ladies, please note that this is an outdoor wedding on grass and there is also some uneven terrain on the short walk to the cocktail hour, so we recommend wearing shoes with a block heel, wedges or flats.
The weather in Los Altos in November is usually beautiful and mild. We expect the average temperature during the day to be in the 60s, but when the sun goes down it does cool off considerably. We will have heaters set up, but highly recommend bringing a jacket, shawl or wrap to stay warm.
We are providing shuttle service to and from the wedding from The Residence Inn and The Stanford Park Hotel. Shuttle pick up times are as follows: 2pm pick-up at The Stanford Park Hotel 2:10pm and 2:30pm pick-ups at Residence Inn Shuttles will remain on-site throughout the entirety of the event for guests to return to the hotels as needed. The final pick-up at 210 Alta Vista Ave will be 10:45pm. Even if you are not staying at one of the hotels, we strongly encourage everyone to take the shuttles as there is extremely limited parking around the wedding venue.
The wedding & reception are being hosted at a private residence with extremely limited street parking. We strongly encourage everyone to take the shuttles even if you are not staying at one of the hotels. If you are taking Uber/Lyft, we recommend that you use the neighbor's address: 391 Mariposa Ave, Los Altos as the destination instead of the one listed on the formal invite, as there are sometimes issues with ride-share app navigation in that area.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event. The only children attending will be those that are part of the wedding party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
