We first met when we both lived in residence at the University of Lethbridge. We became fast friends over our first year, and we got even closer over the summer when we were both back in Calgary. Soon enough, we were each others first “good morning” and last “good night”.

We finally started dating after Max accidentally let it slip that he was in love with Becca. Over the previous year of friendship we had both developed strong feelings, and people continuously mistook us for a couple. The shift to a relationship came easily, we were attached at the hip from that day on.

Max surprised Becca on their annual trip with his family to Lake Okanagan, right before their 6 year anniversary. He popped the question after a lovely lake side day. We were all dressed up for dinner and at the end of the dock overlooking the lake when he got down on one knee. After a couple quick pics, we popped the champagne before heading off for a super romantic sunset dinner at a beautiful vineyard. Our favourite day, yet!
