WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

We would appreciate it if you could RSVP by Friday, September 10th at the latest. If you cannot make it to any of the three events being hosted that weekend, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to keep our celebration small and our venue is NOT flexible about extra seats. We request that couples and families don't bring guests that have not been invited as we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation envelope.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

While we love your littles ones, our celebration day is going to be an adults only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

WILL THE VOW RENEWAL AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The vow renewal and cocktail hour will be held outdoors weather permitting while the reception will mainly be held inside the barn. The barn is climate controlled, but please feel free to bring a sweater or coat with you the day of in case it is chilly outside.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS?

Answer

Yes! A hotel block has been reserved for guests at The Quality Inn in Geneseo, New York. Visit our Travel page for more information on the hotel block and how to reserve your room.

WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE SERVED AT THE RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes! A BBQ buffet with pulled pork, chicken thighs and drumsticks will be offered along with mac and cheese, salt potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, tossed salad and cornbread. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available in addition to the beer and wine served at the bar.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire - something a little dressier than what you wear day-to-day. We want you to feel comfortable and dress accordingly to fall weather in western New York so formal evening attire is not necessary.

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Of course, we hope that you do! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our celebration hashtag #TheBarkleyBash.
