Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Ostertag Vistas about 17 minutes away from Camp David in Meyersville, MD. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), during cocktail hour you will be able to tour walk around the beautiful historic venue while making your way up to the bank barn for the reception. Keep in mind when traveling to the venue take Pleasant Walk Road instead of Easterday Road from Route 40. This is an easier route to take!

May I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! We have limitations on how many guests are able to stay within out venue's capacity and our budget, so unfortunately we can only accommodate those listed specifically on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Is this a child friendly wedding?

Answer

The bride and groom love kids and want to celebrate with them! However, if you would like to take this night off and treat it as a lovely and intimate date night with your special someone, that is also encouraged.

What Happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date that we have provided it will be considered that you have respectfully declined our invitation. We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we have to respect our venue and those who run it and provide total guest counts in the timely manner they have given to us and cannot accept late RSVP's due to this. We thank you for understanding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. Please also avoid wearing the colour white to honour your bride.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat. Please also keep in mind traffic patterns as well.

There is plenty of lawn on site to park.

I have a dietary restriction, What do I do?

Answer

(ie. vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free). Please make us aware when you RSVP so that way we can plan accordingly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

The Bride and Groom, at this current time, have requested to have an unplugged ceremony. When the ceremony takes place, we kindly ask for you to please silence your phones and tuck them away so we all can be present in this very special moment. The Photographer and/or Videographer will have plenty of your favourite memories to share after.
