We met on a Monday afternoon for happy hour in September 2023. If you ask Tommy, he’ll tell you we could’ve met months earlier - but Lexi unknowingly left him “on read” after missing his message. Fast forward a month, and Tommy saw a photo of Lexi on Facebook and instantly recognized her as the “most stunning girl” who had blown him off. Through his childhood friend, who also happened to be a couple Lexi worked with in the mortgage business - we were finally introduced. Who would’ve thought we had been that close to meeting all along? From the very beginning, we were inseparable. We spent an entire week together and made it official within a month. Our friends quickly realized this was something special - we were constantly together and introducing each other to our families almost immediately. What bonded us most was our shared love of family and how deeply important it is to both of us. From the moment we met, there was an undeniable connection, one that has only grown stronger every day. Wherever Tommy is, there is fun - and that’s what Lexi first fell in love with. But over time, she saw there was so much more than just his charm. Tommy has a clear vision for his life, a huge heart, and an incredible drive and zest for everything he does. His positivity is contagious, and he has a way of talking to absolutely anyone. He’s protective of the people he loves...even if he just met you - and makes everyone feel welcomed and included. Watching the way he cares for his nieces and nephew melted her heart (although she’s still waiting to see him change a diaper). From the very beginning, Tommy was drawn to Lexi’s striking blue eyes and dark features - but even more to her balance of ambition, loyalty, and ability to light up any room. She connects with everyone she meets, brings people together effortlessly, and keeps everyone laughing. Tommy quickly knew she was someone he needed in his life. Within just a few months, he could already picture her as an incredible wife and mother to his children one day. He admired the way she cared for his niece and nephew - and of course, her impressive ability to cook just about anything in the kitchen. Over the years, we’ve created countless unforgettable memories, grown stronger in our relationship, traveled to beautiful places, and seamlessly blended our friends and families. Now, we’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter - forever. Tommy proposed on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, on the beach in the Cayman Islands - the very spot where Lexi’s parents were married nearly 40 years ago. It was a complete surprise. We had never even looked at rings together - he wanted to truly surprise her for once. It was more thoughtful and perfect than Lexi ever could have imagined.
