Cabrillo National Monument
Our personal favorite in San Diego! This park features the Cabrillo National Monument, expansive views overlooking San Diego, Tijuana and the Pacific. Be sure to stop at the historic lighthouse, tide pools along the cliffs (immediate right when entering the park), and short hiking trails. $20 entry per car.
Sunset Cliffs
Scenic flat walking trails along the coastline and bluffs (very popular for sunset). Park anywhere along this road to walk up or down. Click "View" for directions.
Belmont Park
Historic roller coaster, games, and restaurants. Only a few minutes from The Dana.
The Mission - Mission Beach
Some of the best breakfast around.
OB Noodle House Bar 1502
A local favorite. Don't forget the peanut butter whiskey shot (birth place of Screwball Whiskey).
Superbloom Coffee & Juice
Cutest spot on the bay for coffee, afternoon drink or small bites.
Point Loma Seafoods
A fast-casual fish market & restaurant on the marina. Freshest seafood you'll get.
Balboa Park
Panama 66 for food and drinks (walk around the sculpture garden), Air & Space Museum, Museum of Man, Natural History Museum, San Diego Zoo, Japanese Friendship Garden, Rose Garden, and more. Multiple parking lots around the park.
Coronado Island
Hotel del Coronado, Ferry Landing (views of Downtown San Diego), Coronado Brewing Company, Surrey Rentals, Coronado Ferry, etc.
