Mon - Sun: 7:30am - 5:30pm Take a walk through the 10-acre Waimea Nature Park, also known as Ulu Lā‘au. The park has the largest collection of ‘ōhi‘a lehua trees in the state. Entry is free and the park is open seven days a week. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy your lunch or relax for a little, this is a great option!
Sat: 7:30am - 12pm Same day as the wedding, but if you're an early bird you might be able to check it out before the wedding festivities start! Waimea Town Market at Parker School is home to over 50 vendors who offer a wide variety of produce, food and other unique items. This farmers market is just 3 minutes away from the ceremony venue and 2 minutes away from our reception venue!

Tues - Sat: 9am - 3pm (or until sold out!) Patisserie Nanako, a family-owned shop, serves fresh Japanese-style pastries including pillowy strawberry shortcake, delicate Japanese cheesecake and classic tiramisu, along with Japanese pan (bread) and jelly drinks. Each dessert is made by hand and with fresh ingredients. There tends to be a line before the bakery opens at 9am so be sure to get there early!
Mon - Sat: 8am - 3pm Voted West Hawaii's Best Breakfast in 2022, 2023, and 2024! Hina Rae’s Cafe Waimea is known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional culinary offerings, including yummy acai bowls, 'ono breakfast sandwiches, and unique specialty drinks like the ube latte. Hina Rae’s Cafe is also particularly appreciated for its diverse menu, catering to various dietary preferences, including gluten-free options.
Mon – Sun: 7am – 1pm Hawaiian Style Café has been serving local Hawai‘i cuisine since 1993. The menu includes comfort food such as loco mocos (white rice, hamburger, fried egg and gravy), kalbi rib plate lunches and kālua pork (smoked shredded pork). Stop in for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and order almost anything at any time. The portions are large and worth every penny!
Mon - Sun: 6am - 6pm Located about 20 minutes from Waimea, Tex Drive-In in Honoka'a, has been serving "ono Kine grindz" since 1969. If you find yourself craving a malasada this might just be the stop for you! *There’s a friendly debate going on about whether Tex Malasadas or Leonard’s Malasadas are better.
