The Wave Resort

The Wave Resort is the hotel where all things wedding related will be held. We will have welcome drinks & appetizers the night before the wedding at the outdoor bar that is attached to the hotel (Friday July 19th) & then the wedding ceremony, reception and party will be held on the 6th floor in the hotel (Saturday July 20th). There is a 2 night minimum when booking at The Wave Resort. For most, I would suggest booking Friday July 19th & Saturday July 20th.

The Bungalow

The Bungalow is a sister property to The Wave Resort. It is a smaller hotel with more of an airbnb/ rental feel. The property is located about 2 blocks from The Wave Resort and Pier Village. If you have already reserved a room at The Bungalow for the wedding weekend, please text us (Halle OR Roy) as we will most likely still be able to get you a discounted rate.

Ocean Place Resort & Spa

Ocean Place is another hotel that is just on the other side of Pier Village, located just over 0.5 miles away from The Wave Resort. This is a more affordable option in comparison to The Wave and The Bungalow.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Eatontown

Here is another option for a hotel which is the most affordable out of the others listed above. Although, it is the farthest away, about 5 miles from The Wave Resort as well as the beach.

Flight

Newark Liberty International Airport OR Philadelphia International Airport

For those flying to the wedding, flying into EWR would be the closest and easiest airport to fly into. It is about 44 miles from The Wave Resort. For those that would prefer to fly into PHL, that is another great option but it is a bit farther, about 91 miles from The Wave Resort. There is always the option to rent a car after flying in to either airport. Renting a car would be the way to go if you flew into PHL airport BUT if you fly into EWR it would make the most sense to take the train as it is very easy, convenient and drops you off extremely close to The Wave Resort. Once you get to Long Branch, everything is within walking distance from The Wave Resort. So, if you are just coming for a long weekend and planning to stay in the area, I personally don't think a car is needed.

NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line Train

If anyone is flying into Newark Liberty International, taking the train from the airport to the hotel would be very easy and convenient! You would take the airtrain to get out of Newark Airport, board the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line Train, ride 10 stops & it would drop you off right in Long Branch, less than 0.5 miles from The Wave Resort.
