FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hannah Garvin and Jared Smith
Question

Semi-formal to formal dress - What should I wear?

Answer

We would love everyone to get dressed up with us, but we are in the mountains. Please be aware that there might be a chill in the air, and bringing a light jacket is recommended. For the ladies this means midi to maxi length dresses, or pants suits. Please refrain from wearing shades of white or light beige. Please also keep in mind that the ceremony is held at the top of The Elk Chair Lift, and you will be getting on and off a moving chairlift. Please wear sensible shoes, you can change into heels if you so please for the cocktail hour or reception. For the Gentlemen this means dress pants and a button down long sleeve shirt. A suit jacket is optional but recommended due to the chilly mountain climate, dress shoes, and optional tie. Please refrain from wearing jeans or short sleeve tops. P.s. you can't forget your dancing shoes!

Question

What time do I need to be ready to ride the chairlift up for the ceremony?

Answer

Please note the start time of the ceremony is still to be determined closer to the date, especially since weather may be a factor. We have placed a blanket time of 1:00 pm for our guests to be ready, the finalized time will be available no later then one month before.
