Sara Jane is my built in best friend! She was born just 8 days ahead of me, and she often recalls these 8 days as “ the time I was still being cooked” She’s my cousin, my friend, (my favorite driver) and so much more. From dressing up as the Teletubbies, begging our moms and boosha to let us have “just one more” sleepover, our PCA summers, dinner dates and car ride conversations, many of my favorite memories are spent with her! We got our nicknames from our Boosha; Salt and Pepper! Realistically I think it was the light blonde hair and the dark brown hair, but I’ll always tell myself it’s because we’re just so good together! The ultimate duo. We were meant to be best friends from the start! I love you pepper jane and can’t wait to stand by your side in less than 6 months!

I am Sara Jane’s older cousin Krista … although i like to think of myself as an older sister because I’d do just about anything for her….I’ve been around since she was born and had the privilege to witness her blossom into the beautiful… kind … intelligent young women she is today …. So when being asked if I would stand up for her on her big day I was completely honored… but the fact is I’d stand by her side on any given day!!! Mike is one lucky guy to swoop this fine little hunny up!!! Sometimes I sit and just marvel at miss ((…not for much longer 😜 (Mrs)) She is so beautiful…. smart… honestly funny… and what most people don’t know is she can also rap extremely well …. And what marvels me the most about her is that I don’t think she even knows how wonderful she is …. which makes her even more rare!! Needless to say I have been blessed having you in my life !! Sara and I met in the 4th grade and have been close friends ever since (15+ years)!! Our lockers were ALWAYS right next to each other because of our “W” last names (& funny to think we’ll both have “S” last names soon). I remember tons of sleepovers, playing in your parent’s basement, golf cart rides, playing basketball together… honestly I could go on forever. And probably best of all, we both went to Ferris and were roommates all three years I was there! We’ve always gotten along SO well and have the most natural, genuine friendship. I know I’ll always have you as my lifelong friend 💗

Hi! I’m Curtis Post. I’ve known Mike for quite a while now, since 4th grade. He’s like my brother. The most memorable story I have of the two of us is one time long ago when I had this moped. We had to travel from Manton to my grandma’s house in Lake City, so I offered to drive us both on the moped. We had to be early teens at this time. So two dudes riding this tiny moped, game systems in tow, rode nuts to butts all the way. The jokes were made…classic. The looks we got…priceless. The memories it all, will live forever. #DumbAndDumber

My friendship with Sara started 18 years ago when I met her during my first season on the Manistee Swim Team. I was a very shy and nervous seven year old who could be found crying at swim meets and Sara was the complete opposite. She loved swimming, was confident in her abilities, and would talk up a storm with you if given the chance. I had the pleasure of sharing a coach, lane, and relay team with her my whole first year. As the season progressed so did our techniques, times, and relationship with each other. By the end of summer not only were we friends, but our parents were too. Sara and I were reunited outside of the pool 2 years later when we were in the same class. That was the first time I ever had to call home for being disruptive in school…Sara and I wouldn’t stop talking to each other during class. I’m blaming her talkative self for that one ;) From that school year on we were pretty attached at the hip. Thelma and Louise as her mom would say. We’ve been through a lot together. From lane 1 to state medalists. Bible camp to bachelorette party. Clapston (an imaginary play town) to FL & TN. First pets, jobs, boyfriends, cars…you name it. I was lucky to grow up with Sara and I’m absolutely honored and ecstatic to be by “my sister’s” side on her wedding day.

Mike and I have known each other since elementary school, we go shooting together and he was one of the groomsmen in my wedding. Damn now that I think about it, we have known each other for more than 20 years 😳

Sara is my literal soul sista. We often joke that “we share a brain” because we always have the same ideas, thought processes, want to do the same things, yada yada. I’m so lucky that Sara’s sister-in-law Kaitlin, brought us together. She set Sara and I up to be friends on Facebook before we both started pharmacy school at Ferris, and we finally connected during a break in lecture within the first few weeks of pharmacy school in the girls bathroom. What an intro! But truthfully I wouldn’t have it any other way and here’s your shoutout, Kaitlin, I AM FOREVER INDEBTED TO YOU for bringing my best friend into my life! I’m so happy for you and Mike to start this new chapter together and continue your beautiful relationship as a married couple. Love you both 💓

I am Sara’s most favorite big brother! Well what more can I say other than I'm beyond excited to officially welcome "uncle mike" into our family. You two are a cornerstone in our sons lives, who can hardly contain themselves and wait to go on Dr. (Aunt) Sara's adventures or play 'mote controll trucks with uncle Mike. You two are honestly a perfect fit for each other and each others family. You have always had nothing but love and support for each other and everyone you come to know.
