Kick off the weekend with toes in the sand, a tropical drink in hand, and an evening of friendly games and the best beach vibes. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Wedding Ceremony + Reception

4:30 pm

Ceremony Location: The Gazebo at Barceló Maya Palace Resort Formal attire, but make it tropical! Long or midi-length dresses, sharp suits (ties optional), and chic vibes are encouraged—but feel free to swap dark palettes for bright, beach-inspired colors. Please arrive at the Palace Gazebo at 4pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Though we won’t be on the beach itself, all events will be outdoors, so please dress and plan accordingly. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to a cocktail hour on the adjacent terrace. Reception Location: The Palmeras Grill at Barceló Maya Resort The reception will begin at 7pm, and there will be a short, fully paved walk from the ceremony + cocktail hour location to the reception area. After party will take place at a bar on property!

Texas Celebration

Join us in celebrating the newlyweds, Texas style! Enjoy a casual gathering with great food, drinks, and good company.

Ohio Celebration

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Casual Cocktail Attire: Stylish but not stuffy. Sundresses, jumpsuits, or cocktail dresses; button-downs with or without a jacket and nice pants. No tie necessary!

Join us for our final post-wedding celebration at this beautiful indoor/outdoor venue. There will be plenty of food, drinks, and fun! This venue has ample parking, but please use local taxi services or plan for a designated driver if you plan to be drinking! We do not plan to secure blocks of rooms at hotels for this celebration. However, if you would like to stay in the area to enjoy other activities at the lake (take a ferry to the islands, visit Lakeside Chautauqua, Liberty Aviation Museum, Cedar Point, etc.) the following hotels are only 2 miles from The Venue. If you intend to book a room, we recommend doing so as soon as possible because July is prime season in vacationland Ohio!
