The Countdown To Forever Has Begun!!!

We both started dental school in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Our first quarter was online, and we did not meet each other until we had our first social gathering as a class at Huntington Beach. We had several conversations that day, and we became close friends through several hiking adventures shortly after. Kevin invited Emily out to eat authentic tacos when Kevin "slid in her DM's"--and the rest is history. ;)

We went to Chicago back in November for a short business trip. However, Kevin had planned an extra "surprise" day for Emily to explore the city together. Emily knew Kevin had bought tickets to go to the top of Willis Tower--which is the third tallest building in the Western Hemisphere--but she did not know the other details Kevin kept secret. Kevin arranged a private "construction tour" for Emily when they arrived. The tour guide turned out to be the photographer for their special night, and the "construction tour" was not much of a construction tour at all. ;) Kevin popped the question on the Skydeck, as both Emily and Kevin stood 110 stories tall into the beautiful, twinkling night sky.
