What is the wedding schedule/itinerary?
Answer
Please stay tuned for your official invites! When you receive your invitation, we ask that you please review the website at that time, and check back in closer to traveling to ensure you have all the updated information regarding our wedding schedule & itinerary. There are no events scheduled ahead of our wedding day. We encourage everyone traveling to take time to settle in, adjust to the time change and see Ireland the way you want to on the days leading up to our big day! We acknowledge many of you are traveling a very long way to celebrate with us (and we love you for it!), so we would love for you to make the most out of your time abroad. Please check out our “Things to do” section for some suggestions! We are planning to have family and friends meet us for a casual gathering in Dublin the day after the wedding, on Monday the 23rd, near Grafton Street. Details to come!…

What are transportation options from Dublin to the venue?
Answer
Many guests will likely stay in Dublin ahead of the wedding day. Bellingham Castle is about an hour from Dublin. You could take a train, bus, taxi or rent a car from Dublin to Bellingham Castle. There’s also uber in Ireland. We suggest you look into what transportation option will best suit your travels. Dundalk is the town close to Bellingham Castle (the town where hotel block is for night of the wedding). You may choose to stay at that hotel (The Fairways hotel in Dundalk), or another hotel in town ahead of wedding day, so that you are closer to Bellingham Castle. Taxis or Ubers can be used to get to Bellingham Castle from Dundalk.

What are the directions to Bellingham Castle from Dublin

BELLINGHAM CASTLE LOCATION EIRCODE A91 RP44 FROM DUBLIN: Take the M1 north. Exit at Junction 15 (Castlebellingham/Tallanstown) and follow the signs for Castlebellingham along Station Road. Continue into the village and turn right onto Main Street (R132). The entrance to Bellingham Castle is further along Main Street on the right beside a large stone entrance tower.

What are the passport requirements for travel?
Answer
To travel to Ireland from the US, your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay. U.S. citizens can visit Ireland visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism or business. There is no minimum passport validity requirement for U.S. citizens entering Ireland. If you plan to travel to another country outside of Ireland, be aware that many countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your trip's end dates. This is known as the "six-month rule”. Others require your passport be valid for at least three months beyond the date you plan to leave. Overall, we encourage you to independently look into the specific travel requirements for any destination you may plan to travel to.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
We love ALL of your kids- but unfortunately this is an adults only wedding, with the exception of immediate family children specifically named on the invitation/those that are in the wedding party.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally named on your wedding invitation. Unless specifically mentioned on your invitation, please plan to attend without a plus one.

What colors are the bridesmaids wearing?
Answer
Bridesmaids will be wearing a variety of gowns in neutral tones, including shades of champagne, rose gold and brown. Some will also have a floral print.

What time can I arrive to Bellingham Castle on wedding day?
Answer
The following information is directly from the Bellingham Castle website: Access to the castle and grounds will not be granted prior to 2pm on our wedding date. When a wedding ceremony is taking place in Bellingham Castle, we recommend guests arrive to the castle ready, as access prior to 2pm will not be possible and public changing facilities are very limited.
