What began as a few days of chatting quickly turned into nightly FaceTime calls, where Drew’s kindness, humor, and shared understanding created an unshakable bond. And where Drew's dad occasionally interrupted with his opinions on High School Musical or Chicago sports. Our first in-person meeting was unforgettable. Drew braved a tornado siren and torrential rain to meet Jackie in St. Louis, arriving soaked but determined. Despite the unexpected weather, the evening turned into a perfectly imperfect first date, setting the stage for a love story filled with tacos, humor, and resilience. Fast forward to September 13, 2024 - Drew proposed in front of our first home together, the perfect setting for a moment that was so uniquely “us.” It was a heartfelt and beautiful reminder that home is wherever we’re together.
