FAQs

Question

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes, we will host a Welcome Party from 5-6pm on Saturday, December 3rd. Come for canapés, cocktails, and connections!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at the gazebo and the cocktail hour/reception will be held on a terrace (weather permitting!) We are hoping for a wedding outside amongst the "air of God" as Chelsea's dad always used to say :) but of course, we'll have a Plan B, if needed.

Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place on a terrace (i.e. not on the beach) so this won't be a shoe-less event. Dress code is cocktail attire, but make sure you are comfortable for dancing! Examples: Women can wear dresses or jumpsuits with heels or wedges. Men can wear suits with/without ties or button down with slacks. We kindly ask that you not wear shorts or sandals. Bright colors encouraged :)

Question

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We encourage you to dress smart casual, but have fun with it! Wear bright colors! We are all on vacation after-all.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the terrace for cocktail hour where we will be serving canapés and beverages.

Question

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10pm and afterwards some of us will head over to the bar/club on the resort grounds!

Question

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

We will communicate any updates/changes via the email where you received your Save the Dates. Please let Chelsea or Jack know if you need to update your email.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ChelseaTakesTheFlack so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
