We will be hosting two ceremonies, one civil ceremony locally in San Diego (6/6/2025) as well as our Celebration of Love which will be hosted in France at an exquisite chateau (8/28/2025-9/1/2025). Our French expedition is intended more as an experience for us and our guests, rather than your traditional wedding ceremony. We plan to immerse ourselves fully in the food, wine, and culture with you--- drinking up each sip as we cheers to creation of The 2025 Norton Lacap Blend!

Travel Note

Travel Authorization Will Be Needed for Travel to France!

Starting in mid-2025, U.S. citizens will need to obtain authorization to enter into the Schengen Area to visit 30 European countries (France is included in this list). EES is an automated system that will register our entry & exit data as we cross into a border of a country in the Schengen Area. There is not a separate or early application for the EES, but they will be collecting biometric data on landing. ETIAS is a travel authorization, not a visa, that's required to be obtained before trip departure for short stays (up to 90 days in any 180-day period). How it works: -The EES (Entry/Exit System) will be launched first, then the ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) will be launched 6 months after EES. The EES is "expected to be operational in 2025" but currently the website does not allow applications for either. -You MUST apply for ETIAS online before your trip (assuming the site allows you to apply) -The application costs €7 (about $7.47), but is free for travelers 70 and older -An approved ETIAS doesn't guarantee entry to Europe -An immigration officer at border control will make the final decision on entry

Château de la Carrière

Sarah & Brandon wanted to create an experience for us all to remember the time we spent in France for their Celebration of Love wedding ceremony. Château de la Carrière is the perfect venue to fully immerse ourselves in the French countryside-- slowing down, taking time in nature, and disconnecting from the everyday. All of the food & drinks, transport to & from the train station, and activities have been taken care of for you, all you need to confirm is payment of your accommodation to either Sarah or Brandon (see RSVP page for more details).

Flight

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

SAN is the closest airport and the easiest to get to from pretty much anywhere!
